Nice cozy theater with fun performances for everyone.

Very nice theater but personally I have the idea that the architect could not choose. On the one hand it is a modern building and the lobby should also reflect that, I also tried to create a classic look. Especially the modern piece does cold and to. But the part that matters is in order. The program is varied and the staff is nice. In short, a very nice theater with some cold edges.

Beautiful and good acoustics, the furniture is contemporary and the bar is top notch.

It is a beautiful theater and also for people with disabilities. There is a lift for the first floor and sloping floors for wheelchair users or those unable to climb stairs.

When the hall is completely full and everyone decides to have a drink in the foyer during the break, the foyer feels very claustrophobic.

I (185cm) can see on the front row on stage and do not have to look "up" like me.

A beautiful theater for a pleasant evening out in Purmerend. (Nice cozy town)

There are very few seats in the foyer. Very objectionable to me. Can't take the risk of being 'just' half an hour before the show for a cup of coffee. All seats are then occupied. I can't stand because of back problems.
This prevents me from visiting De Purmaryn more often.

Lovely theater, cozy but a tad small for the crowd that comes and goes. Chairs were great and everything looked nicely.

I do recommend using public transport to get there. Considering parking can be a problem.

EDIT: See owner's reply. There's great and cheap parking nearby! 4 to 5 stars.

Good theater, great for players but also great for the audience. Hospitable, cozy and attractive and located in the center of Purmerend

All get used to the 1.5 meter. But the staff do their best to make it comfortable for you

Purmaryn is a beautiful theater and especially when there is a beautiful orchestra such as Kunst na Arbeid, enjoyed!

For the first time in this theater and what a wonderful environment within spacious seats, sat in the hall, and good music from The Dubliners, at least the current band with the history of the Dubliners. Definitely a reason to go back for other performances.

We experienced a truly unparalleled presentation of the NKT, everything was completely correct! Decor, play (Cuckoo boy), catering, service etc.

It had been a while since I was in the Purmaryn. I notice that it is getting quite dated. The space for legs and feet is really outdated. The location is also starting to become a problem, parking has always been a disaster, but parking your bicycle reasonably is becoming increasingly difficult. Time for a new theater?

Just like Zaandam and Hoorn, they would have to process a drink in the break / price.
