It was built in the past, so it's okay though it's a facility.

This is a historical Korean hotel that strives to represent five star quality in a modern fashion and at a very good price point compared to other hotels located near by.
Loads of parking available.
Bus stops and a taxi rank right out the front.
Underground train station less than a kilometre away.
Centrally location to a popular shopping district and street food market which is very popular at night.

Main bar area with reasonably priced drinks.

A pool area for relaxing.

Separate male and female spa rooms with hot and cold baths.

Some bad points.
International atm with a high withdrawal fee. The pool area is not suitable for adults as it's a very shallow pool and many rules apply. Photos are misleading. The gym is normally fully of local business man during the day. The male only spa area is not suitable for white males or man with tattoos warning signs at entrance to spa and this is not mentioned prior to payment. The hotels facilities and more targeted to local business man only, Rather then hotel guests. And just like many other hotels you will need to pay extra to enjoy the simple things. We stayed over a christmas period and found the hotel staff to be very helpful and honest in their personal manner. Cheers to the grand ambassador soul.

Not luxurious but sufficient, especially buffet breakfast is good - plenty of choices.

The caustic rain is okay. Located on the first floor, it gives a comfortable feeling. Seoul is not so complicated, I feel the old atmosphere ~

I feel this taste is good for Japanese restaurant but I need more employee training.

It is kind and nice to come in with family. I have a shuttle going to Myeongdong, Lotte Department Store, and Insadong on time.

The service is great in every part of the hotel. And the staff speaks mostly English. The staff is always very friendly.
They offer a great breakfast and various restaurants for lunch and dinner. I like especially the Korean restaurant.
Not the newest and the oldest hotel of the city. The rooms are good enough for a longer stay. I stayed twice for two weeks and I say anything bad. I love the Grand Ambassador Seoul.

Nice hotel, clean and tidy. Breakfast ok. Quiet areas tend to be quiet. Far from shops. If night has to run 15 minutes until the market.

Very beautiful hotel, nice room, good services, wonderful breakfast. Near Namsan television tower.

Free WiFi Parking Breakfast was good and I liked it The pool is not big but it was ok because there were not many people. The downside is that there is nothing to eat right near the hotel. I need to get out a little. Taegeuk-dang is a 10-minute walk away

The rooms are spacious, the chargers and wires are all available, the multi-country electrical jacks are fully equipped, the breakfast is varied and delicious, the staff service is good, the English is spoken, don't worry about the language barrier.

I was so happy to be able to upgrade the suite, and I got an old mood. Speaker asked me to repair it because I could not connect with the phone. I was so disappointed because I could not help it. I was disappointed with the knowledge. ..

It is a good place to stay for a few days.
The price can be burdened to stay longer.

It is 5-7 minutes walk from the bust and there are fine restaurants inside. Parking is on the side of the building and parking is available.

I was there with a group of Korean War vettrans from the U.S.A. for a revisit tour. The room was very nice. The food at the buffet restaurant "The Kings" was simply amazing. The hotel staff were always a joy to interact with and always extremely helpful. The hotel is located within a reasonable walk to the Chungmuro station on the subway. I had a wonderful time staying here and I would definitely recommend it.

Every hour in the afternoon and evening there is a free shuttle bus to Myeongdong. Delicious breakfast food.

Sometimes I stop by Hokan ...
It's nice to have fun with the kids and stay overnight.

Chinese restaurant promotion angle! The taste is very good.

The use of facilities such as the lounge is very limited and breakfast / dinner is not much different from the general dining room, the pool is so crowded that people cannot use it. There is nothing in the mini-bar. Suitable for lodgings where locals and foreigners can sleep .. Besides the one whose value falls considerably compared to the price, it is a very excellent hotel with only marketing ability (?) That can be done.

Really like this hotel. There is free shutle to Dongdaemun also MyeongDong street.

Good hotel, the room is clean, the breakfast menu is various and the hotel serve Halal food whic is good for moslem traveler, near subway station (Dongguk University) and there's free shuttle bus to Dongdaemun and Myeong-Dong area, easy to acces from and to incheon airport using KAL Bus

The decor is clean and the service is courteous. There are enough employees, so you never have to search and everything is explained super!

It was a new hotel and had a clean feeling.
Overnight on the executive floor. The slippers were in the locker as soon as I got off the elevator.
It had a nice scent of amenities, a clean and spacious king size bed and two chargers compatible with smartphones, mobiles and Wi-Fi routers, and the lighting was reasonably cozy.
The shower room and bathtub were separated, and the shower was nice.
I applied for the tour and it was fulfilling, so I chose 5.
Since it was a bus transfer, I don't know the access aspect.

The buffet on the 1st floor is nice because the composition is good. 2nd floor Chinese restaurant Champon is delicious.

The room was a little dry, but we were able to borrow a humidifier and the staff was very friendly. By the way, are you eating breakfast at The Kings?

Loved our visit here. Staff were so courteous and helpful from the cleaning staff upwards.
The free shuttle bus that runs hourly is an asset too.

Last year when I travelled to Korea with my mother, we encountered some spooky encounters, and we pretty sure our room is dirty, however, one of the best food places with wide variety of food and really delicious. Take care whoever stays in there! Our room was a corner room.

Abalone offers infinite variety, fresh sashimi and seafood and delicious meat, but the price is too wicked.

It's calm, comfortable and perfect. I recommend the residence.

The correspondence of the front person was also very good. Of course the room was spacious and comfortable.
If you get on the free shuttle bus, you can also sightseeing in Myeongdong and Dongdaemun!
If you stay in Korea, I think it is no doubt if it is a hotel here, even if it is a little expensive. By the way, I walked from Myeong-dong and returned to the hotel, but it's about 20 minutes, so it's also good to walk back on foot if I can afford the time. You can go back from Dongdaemun with an exemplary taxi at 5000 W!

The King s Buffet Restaurant

Wonderful hotel! The staff is very kind. They gave me some great sightseeing tips for the city. I stayed there several times and always felt very welcome.

Had a fabulous 5 night stay at this hotel.
The first room we were allocated was just above the outside air conditioning units which were quite noisy. When we mentioned this to Reception there was no hesitation in changing rooms and we were actually upgraded for our inconvenience.
The room was very clean and spacious and the facilities were very good - fridge, safety deposit box, mobile phone charger, coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries.
All the staff were lovely and spoke good English.
There is a hotel shuttle bus every 15 minutes that takes you into and back from the centre of Seoul and the bus continues until quite late in the evening which is useful.

Very good hotel..enjoy to be stay there..when you need go to myeong dong they provide shuttle every hour..highly recommended!!
