Worse franchise to work for ever. I worked for a Burger King for 7 years and was there when they switched franchises to GPS. Ever since then the store went downhill so fast. I was promised a promotion for 2 years, went a year and a half with no pay raise. They took away our vacation pay 1 month before I went on maternity leave. Then told me that I would have to work another year to get my sick time pay.... This company is looking for a lawsuit. They keep taking more stores under their wing but do a terrible job at managing them, or controlling their management. Only a matter of time before this company goes belly up.

Witnessed first hand "director" Travis Kirkland fabricate a ServSafe document in the store to pass an inspection. I have video and photo with the manager Jeff Escue in the video and photo as well, executing the fraudulent activity.
Kirkland goes to this location daily and sits in his truck until time to go and comes in and tells workers they're doing this wrong then he leaves. Does about twenty minutes of work and gets paid for a full day. You'd be better off firing them both and hiring me.
There's no one to report this to so I'm posting here.

GPS Hospitality is a terrible franchise to work fo...

GPS Hospitality is a terrible franchise to work for if you are not up in Corporate. As a 17 year old high school student I began working at Pizza Hut on Cascade road. The company that franchised their location then had its ups and downs but overall the experience was tolerable even though I as a minor was overworked with no breaks and expected by the then store manager to perform her managerial task. Once the switch to GPS occurred things went from tolerable to horrible. I became a manager at 18 which was good for me but the new management was disrespectful. I was told By the district manager Zach that I was incompetent at my job and needed to be retrained from start( although I had been performing Store manager task and practically running the store some nights even before I was promoted hence the reason for my promotion). This verbal abuse was upsetting but I took it with no complaint. Of course nobody actually took the time to retrain me but I made myself better at my job as I have always done and soon there were no more complaints about my performance. We also lost all of our managers except for me and a new store manager( my fourth working with might i add). This caused for me (A high school student ) to work 6-7 days a week for two months along with double shifts in order to allow an off day for the store manager. Money was good but this honestly burnt me out. As I graduated and moved on to college, traveling to work became strenuous and I informed my new store manager that I could no longer work 40-50 hours a week because I needed time to focus on school. We had some managers at this point so it was tolerable. I went to 30 hours a week which gave me time to do homework Atleast but most nights I wasn t leaving the store til 1 or 2am with 8 o clock classes to attend and an hour ride to make it home. That s if I made it to the last bus on time. Some nights I ve had to sleep in the store because I missed my bus and an Uber was too costly. I ve put so much into Pizza Hut and GPS Hospitality over the years and have even given up some of my freedoms and neglected my own well being for the sake of the company. This seems to still never be enough. They do not care about how hard you are working, hell we went two months during the summer with no AC. Sweltering heat with two ovens running could ve probably killed somebody but we were still required to work. The reason GPS doesn t work is because there is no real hospitality involved. The focus is on profit only and not the means to make profit. Sales have gone down at every store because of this and the best solution they could come up with was to make labor cuts. 20 + management employees lost their jobs last year, me personally in October. In order to avoid paying UI Benifits the company tried to create legitimate reasons for letting go of people. The night before I was released, me tired and barely able to stand, canceled the remaining orders In my system without calling back the customers first. Mind you it s 12 am in the morning And I doubtfully would have received an answer even if I did call. The next day I received a phone call from a coworker informing me that I was being terminated for violating the Cash Handling Policy and was being accused of theft. She didn t want me to face the embarrassment of a public termination ( because gps doesn t care to do things formally and privately) and snuck a call to tell me not to come in. Zach and the area coach found out and informed the staff that if I didn t come in one of them would be written up and possibly terminated. To avoid this I went in and signed my separation notice. Which states nothing about theft simply says that I made cancels and how much the cancels totaled. Later I applied to a different Pizza Hut in Stone Mountain, I applied and was hired as a cook. Unfortunately the same district manager Zach oversees this location and on my second day working sat me down and told me I couldn t work. Mind you I m already hired and in the system. No separation notice or reason for termination. Don t work here.

1 star was the only thing that I could select in order to be able to place my comments. I ordered from pizza hut @ 5150 Memorial Dr, Stone Mountain, GA 30083, on superbowl Sunday. Total for my order was over $50. We waited 1.5 hours after quoted/estimated delivery time and once we finally got the pizza, every last pizza was wrong. I stayed on hold for over 2 hours the first call and an hour the 2nd call. Never received an answer. I called back two days later and spoke with "manager" Courtney whom first offered to remake my order, if I had the receipt, since it was a cash payment. After explaining to her that I was at relative's house for the game and didn't live in that area, she said that she would speak her manager, Linton. She eventually called back and said that Linton said that I could have a store credit. I reiterated that I do not live in that area and wanted a gift card or credit at the store near my home. Finally, from Courtney, per Linton, I could have a refund. On last Saturday my husband was meeting up with the relative that lives near that pizza hut, so I called and asked if I could text a copy of the receipt to that person, so that they could pick up my refund, since, as per Courtney, they don't have gift cards? I never received a call back. On this past Monday, I called and spoke with "manager" Jada, whom stated that she contacted Linton (in which i do believe that she did because she asked if this was the one from superbowl). Jada eventually said that Linton said that she would get the credit applied to my local location. Jada took down the address and phone number of that location, followed by telling me that the credit wouldn't be available to use until the next day. I decided to get pizza for my boys today, so when I didn't see the credit online, I called my local pizza hut. There they said there was no credit for me there. I then call the Memorial Drive location back and when Christina offered to help me, when I asked for a manager, I told her "no" and requested to speak to the 3 people I've already worked/spoken with, Courtney, Jada or Linton. Linton, whom I talked to for the first time today and might I add, thought was a man, got on the phone. She said that she was waiting on me to call her back but I never called and that she told them that my relative could have brought the receipt up and that she never said to Jada that the credit would be at my local pizza hut. She stated that all their calls are recorded by phone numbers, that they are a franchise, GPS Hospitality being corporate. She stated that I refused her solution of bringing her the receipt and that remaking my pizza. When I insisted that i have a family of 4 and does not live in that area, she said that she had customers and have to go, also saying that I can contact cooperate. I googled this GPS Hospitality and could not get through. It's like the number isn't a good number. I will continue to make this known and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I literally worked for burger king 1 day and did not go back. I had to call daily and practically beg for my schedule. I was completely disrespected and embarrassed buy a sexist comment made by the GM. All these problems from the GM of the store . you guys need to get more mature professional managers especially for those positions. Still have not been paid for that one day. Completely unprofessional place to work for anyone. Never again!

The ladies I spoke to on the phone yesterday were very helpful. But I still have not received my pay from my month at Pizza Hut like they told me I would today. It s early right now, but I will be making multiple calls shortly. I literally would just like to have the money I worked for. Thank you.

I was just told that the Pizza Hut on Memorial Dr in Stone Mountain, GA cannot bring deliveries inside of businesses. I work at a local college and was in a meeting. For clarification, I visited the location. There I was told that it was GPS policy. When asked for GPS contact info, the location manager advised me to look online. I will be committing my free time to compiling a list of GPS Hospitality holdings and discouraging patronage.
