Best steak house in Vancouver. Have to try the crabcake and bone marrow appetizer, to die for. Never a bad cut of meat. Number1 waiter is John. Been there a dozen times this year and will return many more in 2019. 5 stars all day.

staffs are supper respectful and knowledgeable, and the place is cozy and classy, unfortunately appetizer plates were a bit dirty which was changed but the experience is not acceptable for such this place. This restaurant suppose to be a steak house but one of four steaks that we order was a bit salty which is not fine.
Overall everything else was fine not perfect.
Whatever else you may think of the place, their food speaks for itself. It's expensive, but the steak is some of the best I've had: aged, flavorful, and seared perfectly. The service was no nonsense and professional.

I had dinner with my wife and Gotham impressed us once again with the quality of their food and their service. Our server took the time to explain the different options that would suite us, gave recommendations and was very friendly. We had the shrimp and onion bread as our appetizer. We had the beet salad, and shared a 20oz bone-in rib eye steak. The food was fantastic! All of it really! We had a wonderful evening. Thank you Gotham!
Best steak I ever have, surprise how many different texture it have thru out. However the customer service have gone down, been there few times, hope they put more control over the customer service quality.

The food here was amazing. The steak I had was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The assortment of side dishes were great. The mushrooms were unbelievable good.

Onion bread and lamb chops were good; smallest Lobster tail and thinnest steak looked very poor; sand in the clam chowder soup.
Exceptional food and service. I love this place. Crab cakes, bone marrow, garlic shrimp and mashed potatoes are incredible. I need to quadruple my income so I can dine here on a regular basis. LOVE.
Love the staff's willingness to give a fantastic guest experience. The cocktails are always fantastic, the food is always incredible. A member of our party asked our server which of two appetizers he would choose and he said "OK, I got you" and brought her a half order of each. All in all, a fantastic birthday dinner with a few close friends, even during covid.

Our server Jon had a great presence and sense of humor, I recommend asking for him. The atmosphere was appropriate for anything from a romantic dinner for two, to a party of 18, to a business dinner. The steak is prepared and cooked perfectly. They even called my party (booked through OpenTable) when I forgot my sunglasses case.

This is acknowledged as Vancouver's premier steak destination. It's in an historic building and offers top quality steaks and impeccable service. Normally way above my pay grade, I went during happy hour where it's less 40% and had the steak sandwich and a few oysters. I order the steak 1 level more raw then I would like since they cook 1 level above what you ask. The NY steak sandwich is one of the best values. Great with oysters and a nice house red.

Great place. Nice atmopshere. Their Lamb is Halal as mentioned by the chef. Can do special Halal order with 3 days business days notice. Highly recommended. Little pricey but worth it.
First off the atmosphere is great, the service is impeccable. This is a steak house, so if you are craving an amazing cut of beef cooked to perfection, than Gotham is the place! Our server suggested a bottle of wine that complimented our food perfectly. It may look pricey, but after you take in the food, the atmosphere and the service, you appreciate what fine dining is about. Thank you for a memorable night!
I won't add much to the legions of comments about Gotham Steakhouse. It is a classic place and shouldn't be missed. The food, and service are excellent and exactly what you'd want to find at a place like that.

The steak was great and the waiters were quick and polite. Would totally recommend! The prices are a little steep though.
Everything is done properly. No other way around it. What really makes this establishment is the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. Often visit for lunches and never disappointed.
The BEST steak in town. Very good, down-to-earth service, cozy and upscale interior in style of a modern New York steakhouse, and a surprisingly nice patio.
The steaks are excellent, cooked just right, delicious sides, seafood, and starters. I recommend starting with the bone marrow, it's outstanding.
My only complaint would be that there needs to be a dress code applied. The amount of people in t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops (just ... why?) Is too high for a place of this class.
The best spot for happy hour during the winter in Vancouver :) Fantastic service, great cocktails and a warm cozy vibe. Love, love, love the sliders but the cheese toast is a must if you ve never tried it before.

The servers are intelligent and omnipresent, answering questions you were about to ask, filling in gaps you didn't you know you needed with the slight of hand of a magician. If you stand up for a moment, you'll turn back to your disguarded napkin refolded on top of clean dishware for your next course.
Where as a lot of fine dining places treat each plate as an individual journey, Gotham offers a very collective dining experience. Everything is meant to be shared, bringing a homey vibe that lightens the conversation and makes it the perfect place to reconnect with old friends and family.
The food is great. The steaks are created with precision, the gorgonzola macaroni will make you cry. The drink list is fantastic with the cocktails being particularly inspired.
The only drawback I've experienced in my three visits was the Beef Carpaccio. I ordered it last night, excited to have my favourite food in such a setting, and received a plate of bland meat with a brittle piece of.. Bread? Cracker?.. on top. It was difficult to eat with absolutely no pay off. I found myself clinging to those capers with my life for any semblance of flavour.

An old favourite and always a good time. It's a close competiton between this place and Hy's, but I would probably give this place the win. Fewer Surrey gangsters in Ed Hardy gear than 5 years ago, which is a nice trend.
A truly unique and memorable experience. Service was authentic and personable, and the steak is cooked to utter perfection. A super no-nonsense place with no fluff in the menu options and enormous, to die for steak portions. I m not one to write a lot of reviews but this place deserves my best. Thanks for a great night.

Gotham Steakhouse was a great dining experience for me and my husband on vacation. The wine prices were not appropriate, so my husband and I did cocktails, which were spectacular. I definitely recommend the Aviation Cocktail or a Last Word. The bartenders and servers know their stuff! We had the seafood tower as our dinner, and it was exactly what we wanted. It was a bit of a splurge dinner, and it was worth it. We were particularly fond of the crab legs.

Food was excellent. We went during happy hour so the prices were great. We got oysters, short rib sliders, and the New York steak. The oysters were fresh, sliders were tasty, and the steak was melt in your mouth buttery. Would definitely come back again.

Where to start?! From the moment you walk in, you know this is going to be special! The cocktail list is extensive, and it's a joy to sit at the bar before your meal and watch them being made. We've eaten here many times and every meal is memorable. Be sure to take your appetite, and finish off with the key lime pie as it is out of this world!!
