Mercedes Jackson is a manager at Goodwill who needs to lose his job. He is terrible at customer service and was extremely rude to people trying to donate. He even cursed at me under his breath and when I asked "what did you just say to me" he yelled "HAVE A NICE DAY". His man is childish and unfit to be a leader at any respectable organization. Goodwill as an organization in the Easy bay has TERRIBLE service.
Never answer the phone, donation station is never open when it says it will be open. I have no idea what these people are doing, but they're not operating a thrift store.
I ordered an item off of the website at this location on 11/24/2019. It is now 12/16/2019, and I still have not received it. What is worse, I have emailed and called this goodwill, and no one has responded. Very poor customer service. I would not shop here if you can avoid it.
I've been here standing outside since opening at 1002am, have watched 8 people walk out with their shopping, and the line hasn't moved at all. How are they working this? This is poor management and very disrespectful of customers. And they have cashier's just sitting there in between cash outs just looking at us.
I went to the outlet at 10 am on a Friday. The parking was limited and I was lucky to have found a spot. When you enter the store there will be huge blue bins that you have to go through to find your treasures. At 10 am there was a fair amount of people and finding a shopping cart was challenging. You will definitely need gloves when going through all of the bins. I found a wide array of sizes from XXS to 2XX. All of the Mens, Women's, Children's, and baby clothes are thrown together and sometimes you will find bed sheets, curtains, and other miscellaneous scattered throughout. The children's clothes were very limited. Plan you day wisely, because you will probably be there for 2 hours or more. The majority of clothes are used, but you will find an item brand new with tags. I found some name brand things such as Zara basics, H & M, Charter Club, Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie and Fitch, but they were few and far between. If you are into collegiate hoodies I did find a few. I found 1 Jordan T Shirt and 1 old school Nike zip up jacket, so I was a bit disappointed, however I left with a full cart of clothes and 1 small doggie bed for $31.00. You pay by the pound and it will cost you around $1.49 per lb. If you are on a limited budget and you have the time and patience to drive to this Outlet location I would highly recommend it.
I purchased a pair of Maui Jim's that were described as "good condition" and "no visible scratches". I received them and one lens has a chip which is in the line of vision. When I let them know about the chip I was told that the sunglasses were sold "as is". Since I bought these through their online auction, I depended on the description.The pictures alone are poor quality and not reliable for making judgment calls about the condition of the item being sold. I've now had to spend the past month disputing this transaction through my bank. Anyway, it's shameful that this location will take donated goods and proceed to mislead buyers in order to make money.
Considering the $1.59 per lb price, can't argue with the economic bargain of this outlet, but the line, at 11:15a on a weekday, means you can expect to wait an hour to gain entry. I suppose that means a welcome expense once inside so it's not crowded?
I love this place, the staff is always so helpful, and lighthearted. Specially considering it s also so sunny and often hot. If you re new to the bins, watch your feet when a new one come out
Purchased a Denon Classic 1979 Turntable Solid Wood and they wrapped bubble wrap around the turntable. DID NOT take off the platter and or the Dust Cover which was Destroyed and BROKEN and or secure the Tone Arm. Said they would give a 20% Discount after I closed my claim with PayPal and NO REFUND and going on 7 days of NO REPLY BACK!!!!!!!!!! Who ever Mykel is surely is NOT doing their job. Time to go to Corporate and talk to a few people to get this RESOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
