What a let down. Dont go and waste your money. We had the 3 course meal. Salad shrimp and grits but was really swordfish and pecan pie. Salad had really bitter dressing. Swordfish was old and started to turn everything just tasted like butter and rotten fish. Pecan pie was probably the best thing they had. Oh and the wait in between course omg probably 30min each course. We had a large group of people and we all agreed.

Beautiful location, definitely away from the hustle and bustle. The lobby is welcoming, and the restaurant (closed at the moment for construction) is going to be stunning. Gorgeous pool, and cute animals!

I stayed here, in the French farm cottage, and loved the accommodations and estate! There are local wineries and shops, but I spent a lot of time wandering through the acres of farmland, orchards, and gardens. The pool is simply amazing; there is nothing else like it!

Dinner, on the other hand, was a disappointment for the price. As members of the < 30 y.o. crowd, my boyfriend and I felt snobbed off at dinner by the waitress. There are plenty of high-end restaurants that we've been to such as Minibar that have amazing service and don't act stuffy. Sure, the food was good, but then again, there was a draft of cold air and cigarette smoke that wafted through the service doors every few minutes. It wasn't a very relaxing dinner.

Breakfast was fantastic with much better value and service! It included a croissant, orange juice, coffee, entree and potato sides. Overall, I would highly recommend Goodstone as a destination - except for dinner.
