Most of the food was perfectly fine but definitely not worth the price. The Eggs Benedict with the smoked salmon tasted super fishy and and there were people in pajamas walking through the dining area so it wasn't an experience we plan on repeating. The front desk guy was a little rude as well, holding up the one finger when asking someone to wait and then scoffing and eye rolling is a textbook customer service faux pas so that isn't a good move for the person tasked to deal with the public most directly and frequently.

Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.

We got the broccoli beignets, hummus, and octopus as appetizers and it was superb. I ate the burger for my main course and it came out amazing.

Our server was wonderful!

This area of the city doesn't have much to offer, in my opinion. The character of Goodall's in a historic venue & the shrimp & grits I saw on the menu (although it was not on the menu when we got there) is the reason I landed on Goodall's for our lunch choice. It was a bit confusing, it isn't set like your typical restaurant dining room, be it in a hotel or otherwise.

The service was excellent! The food was also great. A nice sized chicken breast in a sandwich without being dry; a brioche bun (why don't more places adopt this as standard); and my mushroom omlette decided to be adventurous and went beyond simple white or portobello shrooms! I will say the bill was a bit high for a Tuesday brunch and no one, regardless of setting should charge $4 for a cup of drip coffee.

Amazing amazing food. The atmosphere is very nice and the waiters were great. We did a late brunch at 2 and kind of cut into the tea time. We had the migas and the shakshuka and a lemon tart. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The portions look small but are packed with fresh filling ingredients and the valet is complimentary for ppl eating at the restaurant. My only gripe was bathrooms are outside and are shared with the pool facility at the hotel but that's very minor. Beautiful restaurant and beautiful food.

We went for Mother s Day afternoon tea and were completely underwhelmed. To start, there was a dead fly in our milk when we sat down. There s nothing less appetizing than starting your experience with a bug! Also, there were no scones and the finger sandwiches were less than one inch bites. The toast was cut to about quarter size circles. Very disappointed by the price and selection. This was not a proper afternoon tea. Very disappointed and left feeling underwhelmed.

Lovely quiet, often overlooked spot. Their poptarts are delicious, basically mini pies. I also love the egg and mortadella sandwich. Amazing art adorns every wall and the lighting is fantastic. Love to come here in the mornings. Housed in an old, classic Victorian Austin home, the ambiance is superb.

We stayed at the Ella, so Goodall's was a no brainer. Quite bar, friendly staff. The 4-7 happy hour during the week cannot be beat, half off all drinks. We went two nights. The staff is fabulous and the drinks well prepared. We snacked on the hummus plate and the crab fritters and both were superb. Nice place just off the UT campus. Not too busy on a week night. We were able to get a quiet table. Service was excellent. Nice beer and cocktail list.
