If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. My mom had an amputation and we went to Good Shepard for an inpatient rehab program. Upon our arrival, we met with a physician on call who was very rude and unprofessional. So much so that I asked point blank if he would even treat my mom and upon him exiting the room I began to cry. His PA was amazing and talked with me and my family for over 15 minutes. The next morning my mom overheard nurses and other staff members talking about her and her amputation and felt so uncomfortable, we ended up transferring to Lehigh Valley Muhlenburg. The facility itself is very old, the rooms are small, and you may share your room with another patient. The day nursing staff was great, but our overall experience was so poor we left within 2 full days. DO YOUR RESEARCH! THERE ARE OTHER IN PATIENT REHAB FACILITIES IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY!

I spent two years in pain many other doctors couldn t help me with, without handing out lots of medication. When I walked in to PT, an amazing young lady Charlene took me very seriously and promised they would help. They worked out a schedule for me and Liz took me under her wing and treated me like gold!! I finished her therapy a year and a half now but I still continue to do her exercises. I feel wonderful and my whole life has changed for the better. I couldn t be more amazed at the results. I would highly recommend Good Shepherd for their PT program!!!

Absolutely loved Randy the hand specialist! Went there to get splints (usually go to a different location) and he was great! Explained every single detail. He gave my son and I a lesson on how the hands work . Very informative, little to no wait time, pleasant staff. It was worth the hour drive.

For a company who is constantly posting RN job ads and holding RN open houses for on the spot interviews, I was disappointed to be told that because I am an RN with 20 years (acute and LTC/ homecare) experience and unable at this point in my busy life to re-enroll in school for yet another degree, that I was not qualified or eligible to work part time night shift at any of their locations. The only banners that need to be flying outside their parking lots is "DO NOT BOTHER APPLYING UNLESS YOU ARE A BSN" copied and prominently posted on all of their fake job ads and website. I wasted my time at their open house, and the person I spoke to did not even take my name, and seemed to have trouble with the english language. A place who treats nurses like garbage doesn't deserve my time. Never again.

Such a great experience with our daughter who refused to eat solids and was dropping weight. Everyone we interacted with there from start to finish was kind, intentional, and helpful. Our 1 year old is healthy as can be and now eats like a horse. Haha Many thanks to the whole team at Good Shepherd. We are so grateful.

I had a total knee replacement in November. Good Shepherd was able to provide excellent therapy in my home until I was able to drive myself to their location. Christie found very creative ways for me to do therapy using items in my home. I am now going to the Orwigsburg location two times a week and making great progress! Thank you Good Shepherd and Christie!

Great experience all the way around!!!

Great experience all the way around!!!

I was a patient 13 years ago after a terrible car accident with multiple injuries (pelvis fracture, skull chip, scapula fracture, concussion, and many cuts and bruises.

The staff treated me with great positive energy! Made me feel like I will overcome my injuries...which I can honestly say I am blessed to say that after 2 weeks on the brain and injury floor, and 3 months of outpatient physical therapy.

I am living a full life with no side affects from the trauma that my body experienced.

Fast forward 13 years later, I am blessed with a 5 year old daughter on the autism spectrum. She was in need of physical and occupational therapy as well as feeding therapy.

No brainer on where to have her go for her therapies! Good Shepherd therapists go above exceptional service and are delivering the same awesome experiences to my daughter that I had also received!

I already can see her growth from the therapies that she is currently receiving!

It warms my heart knowing that she will be successful in her therapy journeys to the thanks of Good Shepherd!

Spent almost a month here after my stroke. Absolutely wonderful doctors , occupational/physical therapists and staff. Good Shepherd has helped several family members and close friends. Highly recommended!!

Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, the facility is long overdue for single, private rooms and a renovation of the bathrooms which are very old and often dirty.

My niece was there following a car accident. Within a month, she was sick, a fact that the staff ignored chalking it up to allergies. By the time the doctors there acknowledged she was ill, she had an advanced case of pneumonia. Her rehabilitation progress stopped after this, and Good Shepherd refused to take her back after her illness. I believe they were concerned about a lawsuit. They talk a good talk but the care is substandard and the doctors lack compassion. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBER TO THIS FACILITY.

Overall this is a great place hands down! Nurses are great , just noticed on the 4th floor one nurse was to hard on patient it s a brain injury floor. Patient probably had a very bad trauma nurse was very rude talking to patient and very demanding I thought nurses were to be patient not snotty and rude they should train morning shift nursing on that unit how to treat there patients with dignity and respect other then that great place

After graduating from nursing school in 2017, and still no job, I was hopeful when I went to the Good Shepard job fair last week, apparently hiring in all locations, for all shifts. Boy was I wrong. Place was mobbed with unemployed nurses like me. Was told I am not qualified. Nursing school was a waste of time and money. I'm still making sandwiches at Wegmans. Its places like Good Shepherd and all the hospitals always posting fake jobs that tricks people into thinking this is a lucrative field. Its not.

This place took the utmost care of our father. They treated him like family. We lived over an hour away and couldn't always be there everyday. We were confident enough to know he was getting the best care possible. While he wouldn't eat much, one day he told the nurse he wanted bacon and eggs. She took money out of her own pocket to buy him bacon and eggs from the cafeteria. Bless her! Thank you Good Shepherd for taking care of Emil Volosin.
