Sooo mixed! Because my procedure involved multiple entities and locations to check in at (requiring short drives), the bureaucracy was more than doubled...multiple requests for medical history (online and paper), multiple requests for payments for various entities not explained or coordinated. Front office staff clearly disconnected from the actual medical services delivered and rules followed more for the purpose of checking off tasks than caring for the total patient experience.
The surgery experience itself was very good. It's hard, though, to be excited to recommend outpatient surgery at this site because of the bureaucracy involved.
