Gonzaga University: A Premier Jesuit Institution

Gonzaga University is a private, Catholic, Jesuit institution located in Spokane, Washington. Founded in 1887 by Father Joseph Cataldo, Gonzaga has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The university's educational philosophy is based on the centuries-old Ignatian model of educating the whole person - mind, body and spirit.

At Gonzaga University, students are encouraged to discover how to integrate science and art, faith and reason, action and contemplation. Gonzaga Bulldogs compete at NCAA Division I level in West Coast Conference (WCC). Men's basketball team has been particularly successful under head coach Mark Few with multiple conference championships since he took over as head coach in 1999-2000 season including reaching NCAA tournament every year since then except one season due to COVID-19 pandemic cancellation.

Community Engagement
