Gondwana Ecotours Review

What an incredible trip! My wife and I did a week long Northern Lights adventure in the first week of March 2021 and it was perfect! We were hoping to slightly modify our trip to suit our desires of a more active itinerary and they far exceeded our expectations. We went cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and we learned to ride the dogsleds of the Iditarod! All this while also learning a lot about the culture and lifestyle of the hearty people of Interior Alaska. It was a great mix of activities and cultural education and our guides Janet, Fred, and Sarah were amazing. We stayed in a very comfortable and cozy lodge that had immediate access to several trails into the wilderness, and the food was great throughout the trip. I could not recommend this trip more! You should definitely go, just bring warm clothes!

I can't say enough about Gondwana Ecotours. Absolutely amazing. We did the Alaska trip last year and had a fantastic time. They take care of everything. The guide was spot on and all the tours were hands on for the most part.

Alaska was a bucket list item for me and this trip did not disappoint at all. They are a smaller company which means you get a more personal experience and hands on than you do with a lot of the larger ones. The value is incredible with no sacrifice to quality. You don't find that often in travel companies. Next up (hopefully) is a gorilla trip! I would like to see them at a trip to Thailand in the future.

All in all you will NOT be disappointed using Gondwana Ecotours. Best quality, value and service anywhere. I will certainly be traveling with them again! LIVE YOUR DASH!!!

We went on the polar bear trip with Gondwana and had a great experience. Although this was our third trip with Gondwana, we are always left in awe by their great service and attention to our needs.
Besides being able to see what was stated in the itinerary, the guides were very accommodating to our requests and would very often went above and beyond our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and professionalism throughout the entire trip.

Gondwand Ecotours arranged our trip to Ecuador from the first moment we landed until we left. It went seamlessly and we had a wonderful time. All of the places they had us stay and eat were great. One of the restaurants was maybe the best I have ever visited anywhere. Our time in the rain forest was magical. We spent our last day with Lorena as a guide. She was the one I worked with when planning the trip and she is a truly remarkable guide. I was extremely pleased with the entire trip.

The Northern Lights tour was hands down the best trip of my life. The guides, Fred and Janet, were both so knowledgeable, personable and welcoming. His background working on development/engineering and hers in anthropology were complimentary and led to a very comprehensive perspective and experience. Janet, especially, is absolutely dear and sweet and I felt an instant kinship around her. The entire week was spectacular. I especially loved the dog sledding. I just booked my second Northern Lights ecotour with Gondwana. I love the small group, max of 14, the activities, dog sledding, Chena hot springs, sightseeing, walking with reindeer, curling lesson, and the Lights. Excellent group to travel with!

My husband and I booked with Gondwana for the Alaskan Northern Lights tour last February 2020. From the beginning to the end of our trip, we received amazing service from Fred, our tour guide. When we travel, we want to see whatever makes the area we are visiting, unique, and that s what we received in Fairbanks. From the Alaskan Pipeline, the Cultural center, curling lesson, Chena hot springs, Running Reindeer Ranch visit, dog sled ride and authentic dining, we had a ball! And all we thought we would see and do was the northern lights!! If you want an amazing adventure with knowledgeable guides and superb service, try Gondwana Ecotours - you will not be disappointed.

What an amazing company to book your adventure with. I booked a tour to Patagonia, and I ve never done a tour as I usually do adventures on my own, but Gondwana completely changed my mind. I will 100% use this company in the future. My trip was absolutely amazing and I commend this company on how eco friendly they are. The guide was so knowledgeable and caring. I did the Northern Lights tour with Gondwana. Highly recommend this trip! When the Northern Lights appeared, our night guide came to wake us so we wouldn't miss the experience. Outstanding guides and lodging. Absolutely fabulous trip!

My husband and I went on the Northern Lights tour with another couple in March. To say it was an outstanding experience barely expresses the experience. The tour guides were excellent, very knowledgeable and fun!
Seeing the lights was a spectacle to behold for sure!!! And the daytime activities were amazing, exciting and adventurous. We have recommended this tour to many and look forward to doing another tour with Gondwana when the world returns to at least a semblance of normal.
