Golden State Quilting and Sewing Reviews

I placed an order online for some fabric. They did not have the amount that they had listed available, so I asked them to cancel the order. The order was cancelled and says that I was refunded, however I was not refunded the total amount that I paid. I have reached out several times via email asking for this to be corrected, and have been ignored every time. It has been over 2 weeks with no response or correction. Definitely shady behavior and with this being my first experience here, I won t be ordering again.

My mom went into this place and asked if they had quilting classes, and I guess the lady she spoke to was very rude and short with her when she told her no. Like your job much lady? If not, get another one and leave yours for someone who will!

I live in Michigan. I make yearly trips to SanJose to visit my grandchildren.
My trip always includes a visit to this cute little Shop.
I feel welcome when I walk in and can't wait for any excuse to come back.

Golden State has the best selection of Kaffe Fassett in the Bay Area -- worth the drive. They also carry Cherrywood hand-dyed quilting cotton.

Really nice little shop. Wonderful fabric collections. The owner was lovely and give me great information about other shops in the area. This is a shop that I will return to next time I'm in town.

Went on n there today with my ten year old. We were thinking about learning to sew and quilt. We needed the basics to get started and purchased our tools. They were very friendly and seemed genuinely excited that we were beginners. The lad at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in this cute shop.

I love this store. You can never get to the bottom of all of the kits, fabric and notions that they have. Their long arm quilting so improves my quilt tops and covers up any errors I've made. The staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I alway shop here!
