I purchased a Gold Crown Membership in which they stated verbally and in writing that I would never have to pay any additional fees for ever. However in 2016 they arbitrarily imposed a new annual fee. As long as I refuse to pay this illegal fee I can not access their web site. I will not pay this fee and I am pursuing legal action.
I have been using the Gold Crown Resort vacation system for the last 5 years along with another vacation system. I use these type of systems because you can stay at the highest level of leisure resorts without spending thousands of $ to buy into the various timeshare systems and be responsible for thousands of dollars in maintenance every year. When I compare the Gold Crown Resort system to the other systems that I am a member in, Gold Crown wins almost every time. The inventory in the Instant Bookings and Hot Weeks is live so, what you see is what you get. On the occasions that I don't see what I want and have to make a special request, the response has been fantastic. I don't always get exactly what I am looking for, but I am about 90% on the plus side. The other giant plus for Gold Crown Resort is that I am NOT constantly hounded by marketers to buy something else like I am from the other vacation resort systems. I highly recommend the Gold Crown Resort system to anyone who likes to vacation and stay at premium resorts for a fraction of the price.
My Gold Crown Resort membership has been a very good investment and here's one major reason why. Time with family is precious but we have limited opportunities to holiday with family because my spouse is a teacher and the family all have kids in school and are spread right across Canada.
Christmas and school breaks are the few times we can all get together but finding a great place to spend a week at those times is pretty difficult. But that's where our Gold Crown Resort membership saves the day. A good example is the fact I could, at the last minute (like about December 20), book the week of December 24 to January 1 at a Delta Hotels and Resort in the Toronto area. This despite the fact the hotel told me there were no rooms available for the family (9 of us) for that week.
I logged in to my membership website and had a reservation made and confirmed within minutes. We spent a very enjoyable Christmas week there thanks to Gold Crown Resort. The membership rate made it affordable, but most of all, the membership was what made it even possible! Even other second choice hotels in the area were sold out! We couldn't be happier knowing that the investment we made years ago continues to provide amazing returns.

I have been one happy customer since April 2007. I have used my membership on numerous occasions in Mexico, Florida, and California on accommodations, airfare, and car rental too. I purchased my Gold Crown membership in Oct. of 2007. I've used it to travel to Hawaii on 3 occasions (Banyon Harbor Resort for $398 for the week for a 2 bedroom, Wyndham in Princeville for $799 for the week, Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club in Oahu for $799 for the week <--this same unit was nearly $5000 on Expedia, we could see the Ocean from our balcony). We have also used it to the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta for $550 for the week, and the Grand Mayan outside of Cancun for $650 for the week. We have also stayed at the Lawrence Welk resort twice outside of San Diego (paying about $799 for the week). We recently used it to stay at a 3-bedroom villa for a Colorado ski trip at Pagosa Springs ($398 for the week...we had 7 people stay there...when we checked VRBO, a nearly identical unit was about $2300). We also did a "short-stay" (3 nights) at the Wyndham in Flagstaff AZ (2-bedroom that slept 8 people). The customer service is very fast and works hard to find solutions to any request we've had. Only one time, in 8 years, has Gold Crown been unable to find us a condo when I requested one (it was in the middle of summer with only one week notice, and we requested an East Coast Oceanfront resort). So all and all, it's been an amazing experience. I frequently talk with many people who paid over $20,000 for a 2-week per year timeshare, and our Gold Crown Resort membership always amazes me with the value, the flexibility, and the inventory available to members. It has been one of the better investments I've made for our family. One of my favorite features is the ability to use the "Member to Member" rentals (this is for timeshare owners who are also Gold Crown members, who can rent their weeks to Gold Crown members direct...these have been some of our best value weeks). One tip for anyone looking to purchase a Gold Crown membership: we ALWAYS check the tripadvistor reviews of the resorts before we go to the resort (so we can get a feel for the experiences others have had at that particular resort). Then, we sometimes call the concierge and ask them about stuff to do for families and couples, and nearby restaurants and activities and whatever...this has been our secret to having really great vacations. Gold Crown has been a great product for our family.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Gold Crown Resort company. Its main platform, which is the website, is very smooth and easy to navigate, and the access to call its service offices in Oviedo is excellent, the advisors are very professional and have always given me the travel recommendations I need. My family loves me more thanks to Gold Crown Resort. I can only say keep up the great work for your partners.
Disney Cruise was one of our best vacations ever!!
Gold Crown Resort helped my family book a Caribbean cruise for our Anniversary. We saved at least $800usd booking through Gold Crown Resort compared to other promotions.
This was our first cruise so we had endless questions. The Gold Crown staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and most of all patient. They also gave us a number of good travel tips so that our cruise experience was even more enjoyable.
The excited look on my five year old daughters face each day of the cruise will be forever etched in the memory of my wife and I. It is like Disneyland on water!
The daily cruise entertainment, staff professionalism, quality of meals and drinks were so above and beyond. After a few days, I recognized a few couples (young and experienced in age) on the cruise without children. I had to finally ask them, "Why are you here without kids?" They all had the same answer, "Disney quality and Disney service. We don't need kids to enjoy that!"

I bought my membership in June 2013 and have used 2 resorts in California so far. One in the mountains (Lake Arrowhead Chalets $699 for the week) and one oceanfront on the beach (Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort $799 for the week). Both times I saved over 50% compared to what Expedia (and the Resort itself) was charging. Both resorts were Timeshare properties, so I had full kitchen, living room, dining area and balcony. I even had a wood-burning fireplace, a gas grill and washer and dryer in the 2 story unit in Lake Arrowhead. The Carlsbad Inn had laundry facilities. I love the club, I saved 50% both times, and there is tons of inventory (5000+) resorts, many a savings of 70 and 80% off public pricing. I have the flexibility to vacation at thousands of Timeshares without any maintenance fees, annual fees, complicated point systems, exchange fees, none of that! No Timeshare ownership hassles.
I've also used the club to book flights and car rentals. A friend booked her cruise through the club, and got cash back that her sister-in-law (a travel agent) couldn't match.
I will not forget having my coffee every morning watching and hearing the waves from my balcony in Carlsbad. I even took videos, and of the sunset there too. Love the membership!

I have absolutely loved working with Gold Crown Resort Inc the past 4 years. Their program sells itself, and the results are incredible. They have the kindest and most dedicated staff I have ever had the opportunity to work with. You don't find companies who care like this very often, and each staff member puts a smile on my face with every email and is constantly thorough in their responses so that helping members together is easy as pie.
Still waiting to hear back as to why I was asked to pay yearly dues when my original contract was a life time of no dues.
I recommend this membership because I have saved a lot of money when we traveled. We went to Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Puerto Aventuras, with very low prices and the resorts were amazing! I had this membership years ago, and the personnel that works in GCR are so nice and always very quick in answering my e-mails and questions. They have various resorts all around the world. GCR has also more facilities, like booking flights, car rentals and hotels in every part of the world.

I want to tell you that 3 years ago I bought a membership and they didn't tell me that I could enjoy the holidays whenever I wanted and to date I have not been able to book a vacation because the dates and hotels I request are not available. Apart from that I have to pay a fee much higher than the one I was selling. I am very disappointed because their salespeople do not give the complete information in order to make a sale. That if very able to sell because they sell because they sell.
