If I could rate 0 start I could. This place is terribly bad. Reception staff is extremely rude, without basic knowledge or common sense. I named this doctor to be my PCP, but two months later, they couldn t event register me on their profile!
Long story short, avoid this Godwin medical and avoid this doctor, for your sanity.
Agreed with the other reviews. If I could give a 0 would. Got an exam from a NP they tried to schedule me for 3 appointments to complete a physical. The office ended up sending my blood work for a series of test that were not covered without consulting me. I ended up coming out of pocket around $800. No response from the office either I never even saw a doctor these folks are super shady.
She's an amazing Doctor. She will take her time examining and listening to you as a patient. I've been seeing her as a patient for the last 10 years. I would highly recommend her.
In short, don't come here. Doctor and staff doesn't care about you and aren't helpful in the slightest. If you have a serious health issue, you'd be dead before this office even acted.
-Never received a call back although calling at least once a week to find updates on test results and medications
-Receiving multiple notifications to go to different office locations and then having to call to confirm that the info they gave me was incorrect multiple times
-Office is understaffed and can't answer questions, simple questions as to where is my test results (after 3 weeks of waiting and being told they'd call me back)
-I've been waiting weeks for the correct Rx to be sent to my Pharmacy
-Long wait times (waited an hour to bee seen with only one person ahead of me)
-Doctor acts like she can't be bothered, giving one word answers (some of them not even accurate), not being helpful, showing terrible beside manners and no concern over patients
-Doctor spends 30 seconds with you and acts like she's done
-Her and her staff have basically no knowledge of the healthcare system and insurance policies

Horrible service, front desk picks and chooses whose calls they want to answer since they have caller ID, WORST doctor to have as a PCP.

I wish I could give no stars. This practice charges $25 for medical records, when you re entitled to your medical records by LAW in the state of NY for no more than .75cents per page. Staff are obviously unknowledgeable, unethical and very condescending. I was told, it is JUST $25, we don t go into archives from years ago for free . An establishment of this caliber, unwilling to help the community they serve especially during a sensitive time as such, chooses to rob people of their money and should be held liable for their disservice. What a disgrace to the Riverdale community. Please do not waste your time at this practice and spread the word to your friends and family members. If you re being overcharged by this or any medical practice for medical records please file a complaint immediately with the NYS Department of Health in Albany.
I'v visit location twice and it has been the worst worst Experience ever she has all her patients wait for more then 2hrs and from asking other patients this is not the first please do not come here not worth wasting your time with looking for another doctor now
The WORST WORST WORST place you can ever go to. I was sitting in the office for over 2 hours without heat literally almost freezing. I m giving it one star because there s not less but I wouldn t even give it one star. The doctor is literally never there and the assistants are so disorganized and take patients without order of arrival. PLEASE PLEASE do not waste your time going to this place. It s HORRIBLE!!!
My mom started seeing this doctor and at first we thought we found a great doctor, she even told my mother her office were for patients who actually come to their appointments and take their health seriouisly. She should take her own advice and actually hire someone at the front desk that cares about their job and cares about her patients health. My mother has been turned away multiple times by specialist because DR. LUISA PEREZ'S office never sent the referrals. Good luck when calling the office, they have caller ID so they pick and choose who to answer for. We have called from my mothers cell phone numerous times and they choose not to answer the calls, but then we call from a totally different number and guess what? THEY ANSWER. It's a terrible office, if you take your health seriously DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE. She does not care about her patients and their well being.
Horrible experience. I waited 2 hours in a freezing cold office. After the exam in which the PA did the bare minimum I asked for a form from my job to be filled out and was informed that there was a $25 charge for that service. So unprofessional.
