This was my first time refinancing my mortgage. Fidel was awesome. He basically had to hold my hand the entire time. He made me feel like I was his only client. Jake Mendez at Global Equity Finance was very professional and very helpful. He made sure all the paperwork was done. He listed all paperwork that I needed to send to him.Very patient with me, as I'm not that good with my computer! It was very nice that it wasn't a hard sell. He took the time to explain how to help us in debt ratio and putting in more money to go toward principal.
The mortgage company that we were assigned, UWM (United Wholesale Mortgage) are also very helpful. They have a great online billing system.

Yet what was most positive for me is that in spite of my own lack of financial experience, I never felt talked down to or pressured. Juan always got me clear information I needed for the next steps for us, respectful of our lifestyle. I felt the process was more human than any previous dealings with other mortgage services. Smooth sailing as we close on our refinance this weekend, grateful for his help gaining more financial stability & flexibility.
Earlier this week I was contacted by Sophia Chamitoff. Although I was skeptical, I was promised a very attractive refinance and that her associate Lance Cowling would be calling me on 9/22 at 1:15 PM. I have many texts and emails promising me a very attractive deal. I provided tax returns and she ran a "soft credit report". As a point of information my credit score is over 800 and my income is high 6 figure income on a W-2. Not only did I never hear from her loan executive Lance Cowling, but Sophia has not communicated with me since and does not answer my emails. I am a CPA and bill my time at $545 per hour. She clearly wasted my time and I find this to be very unprofessional. I do not understand the lack of communication from Global Equity Finance.
I want to preface this review by saying I don't usually leave reviews. I just had to this time... I worked with Ray Reyes on my refinance and he was EXCELLENT. He expedited the entire process for me by having connections with certain departments and was able to close the loan in one week! That's unheard of! I will be working with Ray Reyes on the purchase of my new home as well. He goes well above and beyond the call of duty, very professional, responsive and made the entire experience so seamless. I can't thank him enough for everything he's done for me and my family. Great company with dedicated workers. Thank you all so much, especially Mr. Reyes.
I was looking to get an equity loan on my house for money to pay off my debts and renovations to my house so I came across Global Financial and decided to inquire here. I first talked to Kristopher Jackson and he told me about their company and then he transferred me to his supervisor for more information and her name was Jacklyn Northrop. Both of them VERY POLITE and took me through the steps of getting the loan. Like my personal information, my house including if I owned it straight out, any repairs/ renovations since I had owned the house and including my financial history. She let me know what things I needed to e-mail/fax her to get " the ball a rolling ". Then when she got all this from me, she set up an appraisal appointment with someone near my area and then told me what fees that I had to come up with before we finished with paperwork for the loan. After we got everything in order, she sent off for approval from their company to see what they would be willing to finance me for the loan I wanted. It took in ACTUALLY about a week but I was really excited about being able to FINALLY get this done. She let me know that I was APPROVED and how much! When we both agreed about the details, she sent me my contract with Global Financial through digital signing then set up for a notary to bring the PHYSICAL COPIES for me to sign and they were FEDEXED and I had kept my copies and then sent the ENTIRE digital version for my records. Jacklyn Northrop led me STEP through STEP of the whole process!! I was sent checks already made out to debtors and remaining balance was deposited into an account(checking or savings) of my choice. This ENTIRE process took approximately 3-4 weeks to complete and my 1st payment wasn't due until a month later with a reasonable rate and the amount of payments were WELL in a comfortable range without being in a financial situation.
A Few weeks ago I got a call from Francisco from Global Equity Finance Inc. regarding refinancing my house.
Never knew it would turn out to be the best phone call ever.
I would like to express how proficient Sean C.... was in handling this transaction; but I don't believe I will be able to find enough adjectives to attribute the character of this gentleman.
But here are a few...
Diligent comes to mind as he was on top of every situation that transpired. He was able to answer and address every question and concern, intelligently, accurately and sufficiently.
Integrity, because his professionalism was remarkably executed. He was comforting and reassuring when I presented any concerns.
Knowledgeable- he exemplified his expertise with the wisdom used to execute each transaction.
There is so much more that I can elaborate regarding Sean; but I don't think I have enough ink nor paper at my disposal to do so.
