Glenview Kids - We Love Kids!
Glenview Kids is a ministry designed specifically for kids birth through 5th grade. We offer both a preschool program (ages 2-5) as well as an elementary program (grades K-5). Our goal is to provide children with opportunities to grow spiritually while having fun at the same time.
Our preschool program focuses on teaching young children about God's love through play-based activities such as singing songs, reading stories from the Bible or other faith-based books; creating art projects; playing games; learning basic prayers; sharing snacks together; etc.
Our elementary program offers age-appropriate lessons that help kids explore their faith more deeply while also building relationships with peers who share similar beliefs or interests. Children will have opportunities to participate in worship services alongside adults or attend special events like Vacation Bible School (VBS), summer camps or mission trips.
We believe that children are not just the future of the church but an integral part of it today. That's why we invest in their spiritual growth and development, providing them with a solid foundation for a lifetime of faith.
In addition to our Glenview Kids ministry, we offer a range of other programs and services designed to meet the needs of our diverse community. These include:
- Small groups: We believe that life is better together, which is why we encourage everyone to join a small group where they can connect with others on a deeper level. Our small groups meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, fellowship or service projects.
- Youth ministry: Our youth program (grades 6-12) provides teens with opportunities to grow in their faith while also having fun with friends. We offer weekly gatherings as well as special events like retreats or mission trips.
- Adult education: We offer classes and workshops on various topics related to Christian living such as marriage enrichment, parenting skills or spiritual disciplines.
- Worship services: We gather every Sunday morning at 9 am and 11 am for worship services that include contemporary music, relevant messages from our pastors or guest speakers; communion; prayer; etc.
At Glenview Christian Church, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond. We partner with local organizations such as food banks or homeless shelters to serve those in need. We also support global missions through financial contributions or short-term trips.
