A so-called club, it's only an acceptable experience if you're in the right set of mind, i.e. drunk or desperate or both. The reception and the bouncers are nice and normally polite and that warrants an extra star. Otherwise, it's a hellhole, very small, very crowded (after midnight) and very remote from anything else, so if you plan a trip to "Jabuka" for the night without a car - you're stuck with it. You can get a beer and you can get a cigarette butt in your eye because some patrons try to dance in the crowd while smoking. Music is good but repetitive and the DJs don't mix it very well. Police raids were not uncommon in the past. There are rumors that it will be closed for good in near future and it will be not a moment too soon.

Best and darkest place in Zagreb to enjoy good rock gothic music in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The interior suits the music and clientele perfectly and outside there are even some old ski lift cabins from the old Sljeme ski lift where you can have a drink and some private space. If you want an authentic local club where you can enjoy yourself without being judged, go to Jabuka.

this night club provided me with a chance to grow up learning on my own. it stands in the middle of nowhere, yet only 15 minutes walking from the center, for 50 years already. if you want to see a club where celebrities aren't celebrities, where its to dark to even spot them and where everyone is a family, at the same time feeling a true dash of Zagreb social history, this is unavoidable. every friday and saturday from 23 to 05h.
p.s. the music is as dark as the ambience, FYI.

Jabuka is an old and old-school club wih great people and music. Located on a hill, the visitors are never passers by - everyone comes here on purpose - to have great time. A dark interior with a big terrace and good prices, it stayed the same over the years, and that's a good thing. The visitors are mostly older, but it's not uncoomon to se 20+ youth dancing with 40+ and 50+ old customers to the music of Depeche Mode, Arctic Monkeys, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, The White Stripes, Rammstein, Blondie, Duran Duran, Eurhytmics, Rage Against the Machine and many, many more!

A very old club which still works. Usually offers really competitive drink prices and a great time out (mostly concerning programs like 80s music etc.). It's one on the darker side concerning the lighting which is on the dance floor practically non existent.

The Zagreb club closest to my musical taste. Although it lacks music of a more recent date - that's why it's not 5. It opens with a happy hour that includes free admission and cheaper drinks at the bar. Recommendations to fans of punk, new wave and all that came out of it - with an emphasis on darker tones.
