Girlfriends Talk Inc: Empowering Girls to Dream, Achieve and Explore
Girlfriends Talk Inc (GTI) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering girls to become responsible and successful leaders. The mission of GTI is to encourage and enable girls to Dream, Achieve and Explore their full potential. The organization was founded with the belief that every girl has the potential for greatness, but often lacks the resources or support needed to achieve it.
At GTI, we believe that girls are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. We provide a safe and supportive environment where girls can explore their interests, develop new skills, build confidence and self-esteem, and connect with other like-minded individuals. Our programs are designed to help girls discover their passions, set goals for themselves, overcome obstacles along the way, and ultimately achieve success in all areas of life.
One of our core values at GTI is inclusivity. We believe that every girl deserves access to our programs regardless of her background or circumstances. That's why we offer scholarships for those who may not have the financial means to participate in our programs.
Our Programs
GTI offers a variety of programs designed specifically for girls ages 8-18. Our programs are focused on three key areas: leadership development, academic enrichment, and personal growth.
Leadership Development
Our leadership development program is designed to help girls develop essential leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making. Through workshops led by experienced professionals in various fields such as business management or public speaking; participants learn how they can apply these skills in real-life situations.
Academic Enrichment
We understand how important education is when it comes down achieving one's dreams; therefore we offer academic enrichment opportunities through tutoring services provided by certified teachers who specialize in different subjects including math & science or English & literature among others.
Personal Growth
Our personal growth program focuses on helping young girls develop a positive self-image, build confidence and self-esteem, and learn how to make healthy choices. We offer workshops on topics such as body image, mental health awareness, and healthy relationships.
Our Impact
Since our inception in 2010, GTI has impacted the lives of over 10,000 girls across the United States. Our programs have helped girls achieve academic success; gain leadership skills that will serve them well throughout their lives; develop positive self-images; and form lasting friendships with other like-minded individuals.
We are proud of the impact we have made so far but we know there is still much work to be done. That's why we are committed to expanding our reach and continuing to provide high-quality programs that empower girls to Dream, Achieve and Explore their full potential.
