Best Mexican restaurant in Berlin with 4.4 out of 5.0!
No matter, we're regulars there anyway.

The food is excellent, tastes delicious and is still so beautifully presented. The staff is always in a good mood, the store was so full. It is always courteous & very friendly.
We feel very comfortable in the Girasol.

Apparently some of the reviews refer to the "Girasol Restaurant Cafe Bar". But this is the shop for handicrafts from Guatemala and Mexico as well as slings and aids for babies and toddlers, hammocks, etc.

We've been here several times. The employees were very nice, we are very satisfied with the things we bought here as well as the things we bought in the online shop. Especially with the hammocks.

Additive:
Now the fourth child is being carried in our Mysol (baby carrier from Girasol) and we are still very satisfied. Despite intensive use, the baby carrier still shows no defects.

Thank you for the delicious food and the great service. As always, we were thrilled and really enjoyed the evening.

We had friends from Essen on a visit and wanted to show them Prenzlauer Berg and had booked places in the Girasol. Everything went great and we also had the table we wanted outside. The food and service is great as always and we would love to come back. We are glad that you survived spring 2020.

Food was very fast, although the store was very busy. It was very delicious. Price / performance was also completely okay. Cocktails were good and they have a good selection of drinks.

Maybe the best mexican in Berlin! I recommend the corn cream soup and the enchiladas, but actually everything is delicious. SUPER guacamole !!! And the margaritas leave nothing to be desired. The prices match the quality perfectly and the ambience is right too.

We had ordered to be picked up. Service was excellent, when we arrived at the agreed time the food was just being packed, so perfect timing. The food tastes great, we had a larger selection of many different dishes and everything was really delicious. The fried things were unfortunately a bit syrupy, but with a car drive of 30 minutes this cannot be avoided. So if you have a longer journey you should perhaps concentrate on the "not fried" dishes at the moment. For us, that only means that we absolutely have to eat on site as soon as it is possible again.

Girasol is a unique business. Nowhere else in Berlin, yes in Germany, is there such an abundance of outstanding quality handicrafts from Mexico and Guatemala.

Have ordered a stretcher online and then agreed by phone pickup in the store. The lady with whom I spoke on the phone was very nice and helpful. When picking up, I would have liked the offer of a consultation to wear. The stretcher itself is great, but after a while my shoulders hurt, even though the straps are padded. For the price but very reasonable, I would buy anytime again!

It wasn't our first time here. Everything was great, nice, attentive service, delicious food. The Corona rules are also observed, unfortunately not a matter of course in Berlin restaurants. We are completely satisfied and would like to come back.

Beautiful colorful shop with a large selection of hammocks, hanging chairs, baby carriers and slings, as well as handicrafts.
