So much fun for the kids! The water park area is awesome and super family friendly. It is also really nice to walk all around the park because there is lots of shade to cool off in whenever you want!

Where do I start. Its a beautiful park the lines are not long especially on fridays. A week before I came here I went to Disneyland and believe me I enjoyed this one a lot more. We got the season pass and its totally worth it, parking is free usually its 15 I believe. You also get 20% off with the season pass in all stores they have, and you can make payments for a season pass online, also you can bring a friend on fridays with the season pass. So consider getting the season pass if you plan on returning to the park.

Great place for kids and a day trip for bay area residents. Kids of age 2+ and easily upto 10 can find something or other of their interest. My toddler loves to come here for train ride, face painting, several other rides and a small water park which is great. Cabanas are available to rent for those who want more space etc.

Perfect with young kids. Children enjoyed many things. Quite shady with lots of trees. 20% discount for food with membership. Food is very expensive - beef quesadilla was quite decent. The horticultural garden aspect makes this park a more special place for adults accompanying kids.

This is a fun place for the entire family. If you are looking for exciting rides for the thrill seeker in your family, this is not the place. If you are looking for a fun day of rides the entire family can enjoy and fun activities, this is the place. They have a Ferris wheel small roller coaster, and other "carnival" type rides. The duck/swan paddle boats are a lot of fun! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Trees line the walkways to give shade on warm days. There are also beautiful waterfalls all over the property. They also have a great splash pad/water area with some waterslides. There are plenty of chairs available, in the shade, if you want to watch your kids while they play and they even have cabanas for rent. A fun day for all. I would suggest going during the summer. If you go before school lets out, they only have half the rides open one part of the day and the other half are open the last half of the day do to insufficient staff.

Probably a good place to bring your kids, but even better to bring your local arborist. The trees here are simply incredible, majestic and interesting. The tree circus is an Arborists' delight!

We had a great time. Its been many years since we brought our older grands to visit. It was 93 degrees and no breeze. I thought they had misters around the park to cool off. I might be mistaken...but if they didnt it would sure be much more comfortable if they installed them. I really felt bad for the workers, they looked like they were all dieing of heat exhaustion. Also the firetruck and race car ride for the toddlers should be covered. My 1 1/2 year old grandaughter burnt her hands on the steering wheels because they are in direct sun. NOT VERY RESPONSIBLE FOR A PARK THAT CATERS TO YOUNG CHILDREN

This is not for your teenager and his drinking buddies. It is a wholesome place with rides for lovers and kids. The circus trees are fun to look at. Some educational exhibits. Don't go here for thrill rides as there are none. But NOT crowded! Today, 1/08/2018 is the last day of the season. Will have a brand new water park next season.

I gave it one star so I could write the review. This place is tired and dirty and no one who works there seems like they really want to be there. Food is godawful and expensive. We also went for the halloween night where the kids are treated to a whopping total of 6 stops, netting a total of about 12 pieces of candy, and everything else was just another opportunity to spend more money. At the price definitely not worth it.

We are fortunate to have this so close to home.

We are fortunate to have this so close to home.

As others have stated, this is suited for 6ish and under crowd. I think older kids would get bored fast.

The season pass is recommended if you plan to visit frequently.
The rides are kid appropriate and my daughter loves the carousel, train, air balloon and the fish rides the most.

There are 2 water parks, old and new. While the new one is flashy, it's also over crowded. And it tends to leave the old one very uncrowded and more than enough water and fun for an hour or 2.

Walking the entire grounds will give you enough variety with out making you feel like you spent the whole day on your feet.

Just like ANY entertainment park, prices are high for entrance, parking, food and souvenirs.

Stop at Safeway or Nob Hill on your way through town and pack your own lunch for the parking lot. Or if you live close enough with a season and parking pass, go home for lunch and a nap then go back for more.

In addition, we've seen the Christmas lights and the Illumination event.

I'll pass on ever seeing Christmas lights again but the illumination event was wonderful and I would go back for it with the family.

Let's see, they advertised it as "gourmet food". We paid $15 to park so that we can pay $60 to enter so that we can pay $40 to buy two burgers that came as two chicken strip orders. Major fail in this place. Overpriced and down right false advertising.

A simply wonderful place. The only thing that costs is the 20 dollars of the parking lot, in reality it is nothing with how beautiful the place is and you can climb s attractions without cost. (In most).

Good if you have small kids. Anyone older than 6 will not really care for it. It's really crowded when it's hot. The water play area is almost a joke. It's really small and to many adults trying to get in that smaller kids can enjoy the play area. The gardens are not that pretty. I wanted to see the clown trees but I was really disappointed with the trees.
