Gilman school Reviews

I'm a proud Gilman parent (P '27) and I also have many colleagues who attended this school when they were children and teens. Gilman is a great Baltimore institution that is more than just a school - its a community of learning with its own traditions and its own proud culture of excellence that is embodied by the "Gilman Five" of Honor, Integrity, Respect, Humility and Excellence. Its faculty know how boys learn and they foster academic excellence with an environment tailored to each child's needs. I cannot give Gilman a higher recommendation.

Great school clean grounds great staff amazing teachers

My daughter attended a summer camp at Gilman School. It was an excellent investment! She enjoyed the camp and learned a great deal in the process (it was a STEM related course). She looks forward to joining Gilman again.

My daughter also attended a summer writing (enrichment) course at Gilman. The instructor (Adam Herb) did a wonderful job to ensure the course was engaging, and fun for the students. Mr. Herb also provided meaningful feedback to students and parents, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
