This place is absolutely disgusting!! Lock an entire block down when there is only one or two people that is the problem. Do your damn jobs, go in there take out the ones causing trouble and separate them from the others who are following the rules!! I have not heard from my mother in over a week, her visit is cancelled and I'm starting to think something happened to her in your care!!
Yes, I've been in jail. But that was a long time ago. However I have to admit the staff was pretty nice. With the exception of one or two jail guards. I had a medical emergency which I asked for helped multiple times. Nothing was done until my mom got a hold of the jail commander. By the time I saw the nurse, the nasty growth (Staph infection) had already busted. The pain was unbearable and nobody should have to go through that. I don't care if you are in jail or not. When anyone has a medical emergency, they need to get the attention they need..
Ms. Kell seemed to have obviously serious anger issues and at times was down right abusive. Definitely emotionally unstable or possibly drug induced. And the guards never take inmates concerns seriously, in fact they acted like it was a joke. And laughed at our expense. Very unprofessional. Also denying people of their medications is a big issue. A lot of inmates with ptsd and blood pressure issues. And it takes a while to get medical attention and you don t even know if writing out about it is worth the time because they usually don t take it seriously anyways.
If I could give negative stars I would, I am a family member of someone who was arrested in Gibson County for a misdemeanor but had warrants in another county. My loved one is extremely Ill and vomits once a day on good days when all meds are given. My loved one also managed 2 other family members meds. So he had them when he was arrested. These so called professionals treated us like we were inmates. Lied to us for 2 days and told us he did not come in with any meds! Finally after the medic had gone home on a Friday, they told us yes the meds were there but due to the holiday weekend, we could not pick them up until there was a medic there next Tuesday! That was the first issue. The next issue being my loved one has extremely high blood pressure and could very well stroke out without their blood pressure meds, although I made this very clear, they still did not get him his meds until Tuesday. By the Grace of God they survived this travesty. When I would explain lives were literally in danger, they would explain it's protocol that they have to follow. So long story short these jailers are dangerous and value protocol over lives and I pray for and pity anyone who ever has to come in contact with this vile jail. I really hope and pray they don't kill an inmate one day. We all know they won't serve time for it and be treated like they have been treating human beings all along. Once I did get to pick up our meds, they tried to tell me they were destroyed at first before I had to convince them that they in fact had already made plans for me to pick them up that day at that time! Their motto should be "Treating humans like cattle and putting protocols over those human lives."

Service was friendly enough, food was horrible. I DO NOT recommend visiting. The second star was for the nice jailer that gave me a non-wool blanket. Try the veal with parmesan, it's quite good.
This is for the local police not county mounties this is what happens when you give a heartless s.o.b a badge I saw a man from kentucky cat a kitten a year old kitten by the neck and throw it out a moving van as I went to work today so I called the Gibson County animal shelter they weren't in so it told me to call them as I told this dumbass cop the story he said and I quote eather you take care of it or THROW IT BACK OUT THE WINDOW so it seems that all the cops of Princeton Indiana don't know about the animal rights act of 2015 that passed soo I tryed everything but to now avail so this cat is now one of six yard cats in the rail yard so I hope this cat can survive
