Perfect spot to regroup over a splendid cup of coffee and fresh baked treat. Times are posted for various types of bread. So if you are looking for a fresh out of the oven, butter melting experience, go here ! Take in the architecture and ramble around this period building for a true feel of the time.

My family and I stopped in this morning and there was a line out the door! When we sat down with our food and coffee we understood why. Although very busy, we encountered two different staff members who were helpful, patient, and courteous to us. My sticky bun was delicious, my daughter loved the cinnamon raisin twist, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and devoured the couscous. Comfortable atmosphere, amazing location, and exquisite baking.

The aroma when you first walk in, wonderful. The pastries are awesome, nice and light. We had an apple, cranberry, walnut half moon shaped pie. Excellent! ! House blend coffee was not bitter, strong flavor. Purchased 2 small loaves of bread. Crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy inside. The balance of salty olives and sourdough was perfect. Will return.

Had breakfast here one morning during our stay in Gettysburg. Delicious! The "morning rolls" were so flaky and airy, and the oatmeal with blueberry compote was a perfect way to get the day started.

Just s wonderful lunch. Exquisite mushroom bisque and perfect grilled cheese sandwich with avocado and bacon. Unassuming ambience but very friendly and helpful staff.
Right on the roundabout in the center of town.

While visiting town I dragged my wife in because I love a good bakery. I was not disappointed - the sourdough bread I bought had good crust and crumb structure and excellent taste. I love to frequent local businesses when I travel and I hope this bakery enjoys years of success. We didn't try the pastries or sandwiches but they looked delicious and others seemed to be enjoying them. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will return next time I am in Gettysburg.

Had a few things all of them yummy. The Apple Tart was my favorite, nice buttery crust with a nice filling thats not too sweet , with a few slightly cripsy apple slices added..... if you want to dash into a bakery for something nice while downtown this would be a good choice, quality breads too.

We love this small bakery. Stopped in thus morning for a coffee and some pastries. They recommended 3 pastries that we bought to share for a brunch picnic. They also made us a fresh cappuccino.

First off the pastries are out of this world delicious. They are perfectly sweet and playful--not too sweet and buttery flakey. Secondly, this cappuccino was so smooth, robust, and creamy. Nothing overdone and the milk was exactly frothy. Excellent baristas! Finally, the staff is amazing. So friendly and seem to really love what they do.

This is a must stop in Gettysburg! Grab a few treats and reward yourself after a hike! Definitely worth it! I really hope to visit this bakery when we come back.

Went in to ask to use the restroom. Was informed it was for customers only. I didn't want to justify that so sadly I did not and will not be getting anything. I completely respect there choice. However that did not allow the ability to truly try there food.

3 words...heavenly heavenly heavenly! The fruit tarts are packed with fresh fruit that's not too sweet and the perfectly crispy crumbly delicate but sturdy crust is pure deliciousness. The cookies are incredible, not too thick not too thin, crisp on the outside moist and tender inside and packed with goodies and flavor. The place is a slice of heaven

I will only buy my bread here. A whole lot cheaper and the portions are a whole lot bigger than franchise places.
The treats are also wonderful. Big portions and really delicious.
Friendly staff and clean atmosphere makes this a must place to go.

I love the place the people and the products. The sourdough is fermented for 3 days so the gluten molecule is diminished, not for those suffering with celiac disease but it's GREAT for gluten sensitive people. And the selection is marvelous. I frequently drive the extra distance and by all they have, always looking for the day old discount too. I store it in my freezer until the next trip! They offer sandwiches, baked goodies, outdoor seating. It's just worth it!
Closed on Monday.

Visit Gettysburg quite often. Since the shut down, limited on restaurants, thought I d give them a try for breakfast. Tried their breakfast sandwich w/o mayo, just concluded it s the best breakfast sandwich I ve ever had. Most bacon egg cheese sandwiches or biscuits, taste about the same. Not here. Great job!

RUDE customer service... Wife and I bought a couple of items, when someone behind the counter --- presumably the owner --- sharply reprimanded my wife for lifting the lid to a glass cookie jar with no intention of touching anything inside the container. The counter-woman/employee/owner, could have politely addressed whatever her concern was in a courteous way instead of rudely snapping at my wife, who was extremely offended. I did not see what was going on, since I was steps away and looking to buy something else. Had I seen this, I would have given the rude woman behind the counter a lesson in politeness and tactful response in addressing customers. I have been a customer of the bakery since it opened, but NO MORE ! No excuse for rudeness.

I ran in quickly while dining next door at the pub - thinking I woukd grab an oatmeal cookie for my husband. They were out of cookies as it was late in the day before closing - but there was one pc of chocolate torte cake and 1 caramel chocolate bread pudding. OMG the torte was decadent and delicious - but the chocolate caramel bread pudding was SINFUL! The best bread pudding in the world! I am a BP expert so I know! The staff was bubbly and nice - I can only imagine how my husband would enjoy an oatmeal cookie from here! Next time!
