GeoVisions is a small New England business that has been providing international education, work and travel, and cultural exchange opportunities since 2001. With a mission to create global neighbors through honest, personal exchange, GeoVisions has helped thousands of individuals from all over the world to experience new cultures and gain valuable skills.
At GeoVisions, we believe that cultural exchange is one of the most effective ways to promote understanding and tolerance between people from different countries. By living with host families or working alongside locals in foreign countries, our participants are able to immerse themselves in new cultures and gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity of our world.
Our programs are designed for individuals who want to challenge themselves both personally and professionally. Whether you're looking for an opportunity to teach English abroad or gain hands-on experience in your field of study, we have a program that will meet your needs.
One of our most popular programs is our Conversation Corps program. This program allows native English speakers to live with host families in countries such as France, Italy, Spain or Germany while teaching English conversation skills for 15 hours per week. In return for their services as tutors/teachers they receive free room/board plus other benefits like language classes etc.
We also offer work abroad programs which allow participants to gain professional experience while immersing themselves in another culture. Our Au Pair program provides young adults with the opportunity to live with host families while caring for their children; this can be an excellent way not only learn about another culture but also improve language skills by speaking it daily at home.
For those interested in volunteering abroad we offer several options including conservation projects where volunteers can help protect endangered species or assist local communities with environmental issues; community service projects where volunteers can help build schools/homes etc.; humanitarian aid projects where volunteers can provide assistance during natural disasters/crisis situations etc..
In addition to our programs, we also offer a variety of resources and support services to help our participants make the most of their experience abroad. Our team is available 24/7 to answer questions and provide assistance, and we also provide pre-departure training to help prepare participants for their journey.
