Completely worthless! This is a state/federal government that needs to be eliminated. Complete example of resources wasted. They are just a database storing complaints. They do nothing for the consumers. Waste of taxpayer's money at the highest level. Don't waste your time. File your complaint with the BBB.

Today, Rob Atkinson, joined Charles and his busine...

Today, Rob Atkinson, joined Charles and his business partner, owners of Velocity Fitness, Rome, Georgia in bad mouthing me and attacking my bad fortunes in life. After the owner (Charles) decided to cancel my gym membership from what he said were rumors the other owner(Keith) stated that Robin Atkinson said, "oh I know about Mr. Apollos, I know him very well, he's a bad guy and has many gym closings." This statement came on the heels of the gym (Velocity Fitness) owners claiming that I tried to sign up personal training clients from among their gym membership population when I was trying to workout myself; and then they (owners of velocity fitness) proceeded to cancel my membership today after only 6 days as a member. They claimed they have camera footage of me approaching members. They wouldn't answer me when I asked them if they listened to any of the conversations. They wouldn't answer me when I asked if they saw members approaching me. Its sickening to know that we have a consumer affairs representative who cannot be objective and neutral. The gym did refund most of my money, saying that Robin Atkinson suggested it.
In the past Robin has stopped by my gyms, (approximately 2 of gym) unannounced. I took this as a power trip as he did not ask if he could stop by but showed up disturbing the flow of my business, causing members to question who this guy was posturing as if he came to make trouble. This is how he and I met. Since this time, I have questioned his motives and power trips. He clearly thinks he s above the law and does not like to be questioned. It would be helpful for you to review my recent encounters with him, even today to see for yourself. It took me having to ask him the same question 4 times in different ways for him to give me somewhat of a satisfactory answer. Over the years, Rob has been on a power trip and is very slow to respond when gym membership contracts need to be approved by him. In saying so, Rob's platform is not for business owners, its for consumers like me. I am really disturbed and I may proceed with a libel, tort, slander and malice suit on the office of consumer affairs Rob personally and Velocity Fitness for this unfortunate incident. As I attempting to make this post on several other occasions this site wouldn t let me. Hopefully it will this time. Rob should be reprimanded for his behavior. This is my request. Or, least apologize because there is no way the owners would have known that I closed 2 gyms, except Rob told them about the closings.

Call this location and the GA Dept of Law Consumer...

Call this location and the GA Dept of Law Consumer Protection Dept and neither would provide a definition of a OCGA regulation for clarity. Simply says thats legal advice and I need to call a lawyer. This is probably why this state steals so many identities.
