Around McDonough traffic is always horrific. You put in an express lane which is rarely open. Very little traffic northbound but you have the express lane open. Southbound traffic is pretty much car after car. Please explain why you bothered putting in an express, you could have just added two lanes, one northbound and one southbound?

There's too many signs on the roadside which have fallen & aren't maintained or are mis-managed (roadwork signs where roadwork is non existent...)

How is there a huge pothole on the major interstate 85 literally 50 feet away from the road work zone? Second tire that I lost to GDOT roads in less than a year.

75 north is always backed up or at a stand still. Why? Gdot spend millions on 75 going through Henry county still nothing has changed. Gdot should give taxpayers back there money.

The worse customer service in the world! Ludy Alverna the so called supervisor needs to be fired immediately for disrespect and discrimination! Lawrenceville ga branch needs major upgrade on customer service. Mess your entire day up with ignorant attitudes and lack of knowledge. How did she even become a supervisor! Ugh

440 MacKey Hero( highway emergency response operator)
is the best ever!
While I was driving up 85 North in the midnight
, I had a tire suddenly flat.
I pulled over my car over to the shoulder and activated hazard lights.
But before I could call 911, Hero already arrived.
440 MacKey completely replaced it with a spare tire and I couldn't be safer and thankful.
How wonderful is GDOT ( Georgia Department of transportation) and HERO (Highway Emergency Response Operators)

I'd like to share HERO , that I did not know before.

In Georgia, motorists needing HERO or CHAMP assistance dial 511 (and press 1) to reach the Traffic Management Center, GDOT's primary center for incident management. 511 is also the number for general traffic information throughout the state of Georgia.

Highway Emergency Response Operators (HEROs) are dispatched to traffic-related incidents in metro Atlanta with the primary duty to clear roads so that normal traffic flow is restored. HEROs also assist stranded motorists with flat tires, dead batteries or in need of fuel or coolant.

An utterly pointless organization. Traffic is getting worse by the day and yet somehow this place still exists and is paying their employees to do nothing about it.

I just want to thank Mr. Scott #456 from the hero department, who helped my dad when he had a terrible tire blow on the side of the road. He has Allstate and they wouldn t even come help him! This gentlemen was on the way to another call and decided to stop along his route. Phenomenal work!!
