George Equipment Company Review

The place is a complete dump. They tried to sell my wife a meat slicer that had been spray painted on the cutting slide. They plugged it in and it didn t even work. He wanted $300 for it and you can buy it new for close to the same price. He made a stupid comment to my wife about his place not being a yard sale but honestly a yard sale would have been more professional than this guy. Don t waste your time going to this dump. Equipment is junk and owner is a douche.

I called them and i was talking to her about the slicer that i wanted to sale and the lady was really rude and she hanged up the phone without saying bye or anything bad customer service

Very rude and slick mouth sales manger. I called and asked about the price of a product and was told that he doesn't give prices over the phone. I asked if that ment that the price was negotiable and was told a firm "no, just come in and we have everything that you need"! I don't do business with companies that have vague pricing structures.

Is this place the experience you see at a present day equipment supply shop? Not at all. They state on their website they are old school - and they are! Are many things either not marked or a little pricey? Yes. Do you have an opportunity to negotiate the price of everything directly with George? Absolutely! If you like an old school operation, ability to negotiate your price with the owner and for your relationship with the owner to mean something, this is your place.

The gentleman at the desk was perfectly pleasant even though my prospective sale was small by warehouse standards.
