George's is The Best Collision shop on the East Side, hands down. He came VERY highly recommended from more than a few people that did business with him. George fixed my door and fender after a hit & run on my Suburban, and you would have thought he replaced the door, but he didn't, he bumped out the damage. It was pinched and banged in pretty bad in the corner of the door and fender and you can't tell there was ever any repair to it. Paint match is exact. I did have to take it back to have the door aligned a bit better and he came out and did it in 5 minutes with no questions asked and a smile on his face. I am a forever customer now. His shop is the busiest one on 9 Mile, and there are like 8 collision shops on 9 mile between Van Dyke and Kelly. He's busy because he does excellent work. I can't recommend George's Collision enough.

George is a nice guy, but provides very poor service. If you don t have a high dollar insurance repair, you will put on the back burner. Their work is average at best. Not worth the headache. Definitely not the place for restoration projects.

My family has been going to George s Collision for over 20 years and it is without a doubt the best bump shop you ll ever find. I had an issue with my bumper last week and I took it to George. He came out and took a look, got me a quote and had it fixed the next day. His work is always fantastic and prices are beyond fair. A few years ago, my dad needed his old Corvette media blasted and re-done so he can put it in the Gratiot Cruise. He took care of it and everyone loved how it came out. I d recommend this collision shop to ANYONE.

I have a classic car, a 1989 chevy cavelier with a little over 37,000 original miles, 23,000 when I got it 7 years ago when my mother passed away. It is such an important part of my life. Someone ran into me in May and the insurance company totaled it. I was heart broken, but determined to fix it.. The major part of the damage was to the driver side door, which had to be replaced, rocker molding and quarter panel. Many of the collision shops refused to work on it. Some said I had to find my own parts and when I did, still refused. It took almost 2 months to find a door. When I called George he agreed. He was a gentleman, very kind and courteous and did everything he said he would and more. I have so much respect for him and the way he does business I would never dream of letting anyone else work on my car. Its just like brand new. His workers are great and take pride in what they do. In my opinion he is the best in the business. Someone who really cares about the customer and the work he does. What a gem and one of a kind.

This is the place I go to whenever I need anything done to my car! Good prices, quick repairs, and high quality work.

I had paint belemishes from a at home do it yourself type of thing lol..anyway came in asked for help! George stopped what he was doing grab his buffer wheel and knocked them blemishes away making it good as new!!! I tried to buy him lunch and he refused ha ha..GREAT STAFF HERE RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

Last year I had a fender bender. I went here to ask for a quote and the guy just came out and pulled my bumper out right on sight. Said it wasn't even worth a quote. He took something and rubbed it on to help eliminate the scratches and wouldn't hear of taking a tip from me. It made my day. And I never wrote the review, but remembered today. This will be my first stop for collision work. I love businesses that don't aim to just rip off their customers. Great work.

1st time I have ever been here. Had minor fender bender with my Lexus NX 200. Don't waste your money paying 3 times as much at other places. Great price. George and (if I recall his name correctly) Chris, were both great guys to speak with. Very honest about what it would take, and how long. On top of that, I didn't have another person to help me pick up my vehicle and George OFFERED TO SWING BY MY HOUSE AND PICK ME UP (I live about 3 miles away)! Seriously, who does that? I hope to not see them very often (I mean, who really wants to see the collision guys), but I will be taking my vehicles there and will be recommending them to everyone that I know. Out of 5 stars, they deserve 6. If you guys read these, thanks guys!

Impeccable workmanship, up front with information,, no shortcuts in repairs, with repair work second to none. While not the cheapest they are the best!

12.13.2019 Just got car back from work done on wife's car rear bumper and light assembly damage. George the owner and his son Chris were awesome to work with. They matched the white Pearleascent paint color perfectly which is not easy to do. They also touched up some areas where the paint was off without my even asking them to do it. Then they delivered the car completely detailed, i.e. washed, wheel shine, power washed all the rims, vacuumed the interior too. Unbelievable these guys!!! Finally my wife is a short person 5'2" and they even moved the driver seat close to the steering wheel which she needs so she can reach the drive pedals. Plus they were fair with their price. Finally, i have had work done there for 20+ years and their quality just gets better every time. Don't wast your time getting multiple bids they never will take advantage of you and will exceed your expectations. I am a customer for life! Thank you George, Chris and the rest of your great workers too!

This is a fantastic body shop!! They do amazing work, I can't tell at all where the damage was. Chris is a great guy and even tried to save us a little money on our repairs. What company does that? I'm so glad I took my car to George's, but I hope I never have to use them again. You can't go wrong here!!

Well I guess I will be the black sheep here ( Black sheeps matter ) with only the 1 star but my personal experience there costed me all kinds of money. The customer service was very unsure on answering simple questions and the 3 people I talked to ( including George ) all lied to me about what when my work would be started on/finished. Dropped my truck off on a Monday, picked it up on a Thursday. I personally walked into the shop found my keys hanging on the wall & took them. I called on the drop-off day was told he ( George ) would need at least 4 hrs. Ok great. Here it is Wednesday, I call to find out my truck was next. ( Now I have missed 2 days of work ) Now it's Thursday and I call ( in the morning ) & guess what They still have not touched my truck. Now it's 3:30 p.m. I call again, guess what, now my truck is next. That's when I went there. Friday I take my truck to J and L collision on Gratiot just N of 10 mile. Guess what truck was fixxed on a few short hrs!! Thanks George for pushing me to a proper collision shop. My family nor myself will use you again.

Terrible. Put a screw in my plastic bumper on my 12 Malibu

They will have your car looking like new. However, I believed that I were over charged. I took my car to them at the end of last month. My front panel and back panel were damaged. I believed I were over charged. I was told by Chris
that my back panel wasn't fixable.
I was told by someone to take my car to this other shop. The other shop told me if I had brought my car there in the beginning they would have fixed my whole care for $1,200. At George's ,Chris charge me well over $2,300. Just to fix the FRONT panel alone.

Don't take your car anywhere else! Someone backed into my brand-new car, scraping up the bumper and popping a panel out of alignment. I decided to get an estimate before filing an insurance claim to see how much over the deductible it would cost. I brought it to Georges and he quoted me $30 to align the panel and rub out the scratches. A great price I thought. When I brought the car back in to have the work done, George rubbed out the scratches himself. One of his employees popped the panel back into place and touched up the scratches with paint. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. For this they charged me nothing! When I insisted that George take some money, at least for the time spent he refused it. It is rare to run across this kind of good will in business, especially the car business. I d have to say I am still stunned. I highly recommend Georges Collision.

This is a great collision shop and they are so friendly. The dealer i bought my car from did a horrible job on my front end. Then i took it to George's and they made it look good as new, i would highly recommend this collision shop.

George and his son Chris I ve learned have been in business for 40 years, and their quality, time, work ethic, value, and professionalism has shown that many years of experience. They made my rusted out car look brand new. And paint matched my car perfectly (not easy to do) A++
You won t regret your business with them

George does good work, and guarantees his work for as long as he is alive! He will work with you and he's a cool guy, great personality!

George has a very friendly and positive attitude. He gave me a reasonable rate to fix my rear end after a bad accident. The work took about two weeks (which was expected) but they did it without even ordering new parts, which saved me a lot of money. Every other shop I took my car took wanted to find parts, then give me a quote days later. The finished result looked brand new.
