Genesee Waterways Center Review

We had an awesome time ! Friendly service just not all that informative. Ya better figure it out!! lol

I never knew the Erie Canal intersected with the Genesee river! Nice foot bridges to cross both! Although a large tree came down recently it did no damage to the bridge.

The absolute best place to go kayaking in a great rich environment. Best water docks and park space to bring friends and family. Place this area on your list of spots to have fun in the spring and summer. Five starrrrrrr

I had a great time kayaking with friends. The staff was kind and helpful.

The staff is not helpful at all, me and a friend went their and when we were leaving the staff was So rude! Plus he did not even help us get our life jacket on or explain anything in detail. Even though it was our first time kayaking, he didn t really care and then when we returned he didn t help us get back up and out of the kayak. This was not the experience I was looking forward to. DO NOT GO HERE, you will not get good service.

It was well organized and run. They would give you instructions if you have never done it before. Spent several hours with my daughters on father's day. Great time.

Fun summer activity to rent kayaks or canoes. Staff was informative and helped with boat launch and retrieval. Fair price for rentals, 3 hours (1/2 day) was plenty.

Best Prices and Staff in Rochester! Along with the most places to see on the river and the canal!
