Generali Worldwide Review

Generali have stolen my money. I invested funds with them a number of years ago (and they generated zero returns over that time) and in August 2016 I requested to close the account. I still do not have my funds. They have a cavalcade of useless excuses {wrong form; original documents not received; certification of documents expired; proof of address documents rejected; unable to communicate to a specific email (to the email address registered on their own website); unable to transfer through a currency trader (to cut down on excessive fees);....... The story goes on. Looks like I will have to travel to Guernsey and collect my money in person. In this day and age, this is UNFORGIVABLE. THIS COMPANY DESERVES TO GO BANKRUPT. NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. I am serious.

Avoid at all costs, Generali have allowed many peoples hard earned pensions and investments to be decimated by extremely high fees and the purchase of investor only structured notes that should never be used or indeed allowed for retail investors..now they are denying any wrong doing and show no care or regard for those who have lost everything, they just continue to take their fees.

One of a bunch of Life Insurance companies which sold policies to unregulated, unqualified and unauthorised financial advisers "so called" as wrappers for QROPs. People have lost their Pension funds and are now living in poverty and fear for the future. Some have died due to stress induced illnesses. Others have taken their own lives rather than face destitution and the shame of having to tell their loved ones what has been done to them. Avoid this company at all costs.

They do not deserve the one star that I have to give. Hundreds of people have lost their pensions due to them accepting business from unregulated scamming business and selling totally unsuitable high risk toxic products.

Dont touch this company. They accept instructions from unregulated advisors and investments are put into toxic structured notes. You will lose your money!!!

I agree wholeheartedly.
Whatever growth a Generali Vision plan delivers, it will be more than offset by the extortionate fees associated with it - and I speak from experience, having completed a 10 year payment term without ever skipping a premium payment, having enjoyed an allocation bonus and having collected the loyalty bonus. It doesn't matter, I still lost money and so will you.
Intransparent fees structure, investment mismanagement by the broker company, total lack of regulatory oversight.
I made a point of boycotting this company for the rest of my life.

My pension was put into an unnecessary insurance bond with Generali. Not only did it have extortionate charges but I had to pay for the privilege of leaving the bond. All of this after they had sat around doing nothing whilst my pension fund lost 45% of its value.

Do NOT trust them. Terrible customer service. Terrible follow up. Worst investment in my life!

Thieves. The woman lied to us about the conditions and then disappeared she should have been imprisoned. Took money from honest hard working people.
