I'm not saying it wasn't helpful some counselor in out patient care. But they don't stay because of feeling they cannot be as effective as they need to be. Over worked under paid.
Drug use high. This place needs better management.
I was here for 28 days for alcohol rehab. I was told it was a rehab, but it is not. There are no groups and no counselors. It is a correctional facility. I was the only woman there who did not come directly from jail. Everyone was serving the last year of their prison sentence here. All of the food was inedible, and I lost 10 lbs there (The only reason I have it one star).
Ms Muhammad.. MS James .. MS Branch Definitely have a different approach to treatment but after building a relationship with them I saw the work and care they do have.. I'm thankful I got to know them.. My Inpatient counselor MS Plummer helped me see a lot of things.. Her care and love for helping people is exceptional.. I'm thankful for the staff at DRC.. They really helped me even though they had there hands full..

All the people who are complaining need to file with the state and higher if necessary. PLEASE FILE. I had to give a star in order to post.
This is such a horrible place. Attorneys are not allowed to visit their clients, people are overdosing in there, the staff hold people back from moving on just because they feel like it, families send care packages to the men and they don't give it to them until they feel like it, then families call and ask why and the staff ignorantly and disrespectfully lie to the families and hang up on you. How are you in a rehab facility that supposedly working to get men ready for society but they're overdosing.
This place has to be reported to the state. The state needs to investigate what this facility is all about and the procedures of all departments. Train the staff or hire educated, respected and dedicated employees that will make a difference.
This place is the WORST. They offer no help with anything. The staff here barely do their jobs and their mental health program and "treatment" is a joke
A poorly directed facility in which the PA DOC is kept unaware and cover ups run rampant.
The left hand knows nothing about the right hand. There is a dangerously low lack of regard for clients mental health rights and the DOC needs to investigateand see that communication and their policies are not properly followed and that inmates rights are violated daily
I submitted an application for the Counselor position because I want to make a difference to those people who actually need help. I ve had mental health issues. Although I have never had a substance abuse issue, I understand and wanted to actually understand those who do. However, my application was denied because I lacked experience. It s ironic my application was denied and I m reading these reviews and They re below 2 stars, because the employees don t care. They rather hire someone with experience who doesn t care about their clients, rather than someone who has no experience and has the educational qualifications, who would actually make a difference. If that s the path that they continue taking, this company will continue to receive below average ratings.
