I ve worked for this company personally. They do not care about your kids. They do not care about the stability of your child. You will have MANY different techs with your child, many with little to no experience. They want the numbers. Their tech turnover rate is absurd. Parents- Run. If you want true reviews, look into Gateway profession/employee reviews. A lot of these are from employees.

Very caring and professional staff that have been providing great care so far. Several locations in the metro Detroit area which has been convenient when my family moved cities due to a job change. Overall clinics are dedicated to effective treatment for kids and young adults on the autism spectrum.

HUGE FAN! You guys are so friendly every single time I walk in the door. Amazingly warm people from the receptionist to the therapists. Thank you for having such a clean, organized, stellar operation for us to come to!

Started out really great but turned into a nightmare. Not at all what they presented in the initial walk through. Christina went from calling clients at home before she had a clinic ready to responding that she no longer handles the day to day issues. Alex in scheduling is obsessed and controlling. She literally intercepts phone calls when you ask for other staff. Even when you put it in writing for her not to contact you directly she still does. Or she has her team constantly bringing her up in conversation. Very immature and annoying. No programming for the older children. They are just hanging out and providing their own entertainment. All the good employees have gotten experience and left. When your child is kicking and screaming about how they don t want to, stop and take a look around. Referred friends. Now we caution them. A friend warned us in the beginning. I wish we had listened.

We worked with BCBA, Frank P. for less than a year until my son turned 21 and was no longer covered by insurance. I never would have guessed that my son made the gains he did in the short period of time he was treated with Frank and his team . We, as parents, learned workable strategies to eliminate negative behaviors and encourage life skills. Frank often spoke in metaphorical terms in parent training that were meaningful and made sense. Hoping Medicaid extends coverage to 26 years for all kids as ABA does in fact work even for older kids to unlearn behaviors.

Christina was the first clinician I had seen at Gateway when my child started ABA services a few years ago. She is exceptionally welcoming, which made me feel comfortable describing symptoms, as well as history of behavioral issues and personal life. She was very thoughtful when formulating the original treatment plan, and continues to check in and reviews progress to this day. Moreso, she & other BCBAs acknowledge my feelings about treatment options, answer any questions, and ensure my family and I receive the help we need. I can sincerely say Gateway has played a key role in our family s ability to get through a difficult time. I cannot thank her and all the other clinicians enough for the support!

It makes me sad to read some of the reviews on here. My son has been attending therapy here for almost 2 years and we have had nothing but a positive experience so far. His BCBA Kate has gone above and beyond to help our son and provide us with the tools to help him at home. He had only 2-4 words total in his vocabulary when he started and now he can speak in complete sentences and tell us what he needs. He also has mastered many of the skills that he needs for school and can write pretty well for a child his age. He also receives speech and OT services here and they have done an excellent job working with him and keeping me informed on his progress. The scheduling team has also been very accommodating with scheduling changes whenever we have needed them. I cannot recommend Gateway enough for ABA therapy.

The staff at Gateway went above and beyond in helping us consider our options for my son when he first got diagnosed. throughout our time here, my son has always gotten individual attention in therapy sessions and is loved by the staff--could not imagine a better place for him. highly recommend Gateway s services and all that they do to help families and kids in the community.

I feel very fortunate to have found services for my son at Gateway. My husband and I both have busy, sometimes unpredictable work schedules and initially we worried that getting our son to therapy at a consistent time wouldn t be realistic. But the staff at Gateway has been consistently understanding and accommodating. They patiently worked with our changing schedules to find a time for therapy that works for us, and our son has come so far in the past year as a result of their dedication. We are very grateful for the hard work of our son's therapists and the whole team at Gateway.

After working for this place myself I can tell you that they operate for profit! They do not care about your kids. The scheduling team is an absolute mess. The technicians are expected to work long days with out a break. They do not pay anyone to clean properly. They do not train their staff properly. Most importantly they do not implement aba in a consistent and safe manner. They are constantly training new technicians and hiring new therapists. If you want your child to have a consistent therapy experience find somewhere else.
