Live on the light rail? This may be the best college choice for you. This college is located in a part of Phoenix that is still going through some transitions. It really is a nice and high tech campus. Some of the buildings are very new here. I did have a couple issues with some people who work here within the nursing program though. One of the professors allowed their personal life and beliefs to overly affect their professionalism.
I wasn't sure where the testing building was at. I got great customer service from the phone and in campus.
Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy coming here for my visits thank you so much
I ve had nothing but issues unfortunately the program DMS is the only accredited one in AZ and through Gateway so my hands are tied. I m forced to go here and it s been nothing but obstacle after obstacle and problems and issues. This will be the 3rd time something has happened to my account. So my class starts on the 23rd of Aug and I noticed my tuition reimbursement has not gone through so I called today and was told the class that I m signed up for is not an approved class for my program? Which it is Physics and the system had a glitch which caused errors on student accounts and a ticket was being opened and now I have to pay for my class cash until it s resolved.. I received no notifications or had any indication until last minute I felt something wrong.. I ll probably have to drop the class and prolong the already so called 3 year wait list
This school has been nothing but an excellent place to get an education! They have so many options, with weekend and evening classes for working adults like myself! I am very grateful to be able to go to college without the worry of not being able to earn a college degree while working 40+ hours/week! I never thought I would be able to do this after losing my opportunity to go to college right out of high school. The atmosphere is very inclusive. I recommend this school to everyone!
A non-stop maze of obstacles in the way of student success.
In the year and a half I have been here the way the faculty treat the students has gotten worse and worse. Also, they have removed the ability to review resident professors, taking away the students' voice and feedback.
The academic advisors are inexperienced and misinformed. So be sure to triple check and then quadruple check to make sure you are in the correct classes for your major.
Graduated from the Surgical Technology program, in 2016. Had a great experience, great teachers, and far cheaper than any other school! Got a job as a Surgical Tech right after graduating. Employers look for Gateway Students, because they have a great reputation! Highly recommend!!
Everyone is working remotely and if you need answers for something complicated, all you'll get is a long list of referrals to these people's contact info.. whether they respond in a timely manner is yet to be seen
