Dr. Haupt is a great chiropractor! Not only does she help immensely with my back pain, she actually takes the time to get to know her patients. The ladies who work at the front desk are also very friendly. I definitely recommend this practice for anyone who lives in the area!

Dr. Haupt has been my Chiropractor, and truly my primary care Dr. for the past 6 years. She is my first stop whenever I have any health questions, in addition to the normal monthly adjustments. Recently I have had an ankle injury that we are working through. It is going to take time, but without her I would have already had surgery that was recommended by medical doctors and would be on crutches for months instead of working through the injury with exercises, adjustments and patches. I am truly thankful that I had the background and trust in the chiropractic field and Dr. Haupt so that I have avoided going down that road.
I've been a patient of Dr. Joanne Hutton's since September 2013. When I started coming to her, I was stiff and was having trouble with my lower back and had trouble walking up stairs. She very quickly diagnosed my issue and proceeded to provide excellent treatment which led to my regaining mobility and being able to go up the stairs quickly and with ease again.
Over this period of time, I have developed other minor issues that she has been able to correct in pretty short order.
I would highly recommend Dr. Hutton to anyone.....in addition to her professional skill, she is a very nice person and straightforward in her dealings with her patients. She is a gem!

I have seen a couple of chiropractors in the past years at another office but none as good as Dr Hutton. The first time there she took x-rays to rule out any problems that may require me to be referred to another specialist. She explained the x-rays in depth and showed me on different displays things that no other doctor had ever shown or told me about. The treatment is not a 5 to 10 minute walk in and out as other doctors have done. She never rushes you in and out. I have never had to waste time waiting when I am there at my appointment time. The entire staff and doctors are very friendly and professional. I am doing much much better and will competed my treatment very soon. I suggest that you try her or her partner - Dr Haupt.

My last visit found me not being able to move my neck and in one visit I got mobility back. I also have had shoulder issues for years. I feel like a new woman!!...ever since I ve been under Dr. Carrie s expertise, and everyone at Gateway Chiro, the limited range of motion from previous athletic injuries CAN NO longer hold me back at the gym. At first I came in only to get my neck and back adjusted, same thing I had been doing for years with other chiropractors with an immediate relapse every time I d attempt to go heavier with strength training. I tried many physical therapies in VA to recover ROM of my left hip post a fracture in 2014, but still I wasn t able to move forward with my gym routines, therefore I was hopeless an fearful to add more weights. In just one visit, Dr. C found the source of tightness all around my left leg and the reason my back and neck constantly get thrown off .... needless to say along with her assessment I haven t felt this confident to do squats correctly in a while and I m so ready to do some real weight-lifting progress....I m SO excited!!!

I started going to Dr. Carrie Dancesia for treatment due to a re-occurring back injury. Dr. Carrie is compassionate, caring and gentle and an absolute joy to work with. I've had significant improvement which I am so grateful for. It was also wonderful to know that if my insurance no longer authorized treatment, that their office is affordable enough for me to continue on my own if needed. Woke up with such a stiff neck that I couldn't move it out of position. Dr. Haupt saw me as soon as possible and carefully adjusted me so i could turn my head and then had me come back in the next day to continue the adjustment. She evaluated my case and adjusted me accordingly and I couldn't be more grateful. She's accommodated my schedule for future adjustments and has been so amazing through the entire process!

So I was not a believer but man within one week the excruciating pain down my left leg is gone. I had been treating this pain for over 2 months with no relief. I had tried it all- -drugs, physical therapy, orthopedic, next was spine center. I am so thankful I listened to my friends to try Dr Haupt as I now see a light at the end of a long tunnel. Dr Haupt has been amazing and truly cares about each and every patient.
The Staff is professional, and caring. Both Doctors are extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, patient and understanding. Getting a last minute appointment is usually not a problem at the Office. The Doctors take the time to get the diagnosis correct.
Dr. Haupt and Dr. Hutton are really more like a family practice chiropractic care team with an emphasis on whole health. I've suffered from migraines, neck, shoulder and low back pain from car accidents and falls here and there. The care I've received has included adjustments, at home exercises, and advice on diet and supplements when asked. The results have literally helped me lose 50 lbs, reduced overall aches and pains and increased flexibility and energy. My son suffered from school stress, neck and shoulder pain from studying and ankles that cracked all the time. He was afraid to get an adjustment at first, but there are many types of adjusting methods that aren't forced so he felt at ease and started asking me to take him for adjustments! Also, the office has a piece of equipment to measure how you stand on your feet/balance/arches and so on. They were able to have custom orthodics made for him and the clicking stopped. He was able to try out for and make the track team. Again, truly a family practice chiropractic care team with an emphasis on whole health.

I am very impressed with the positive attitude and professional service of Dr. Joanne Hutton and her staff including Morgan and Lauren. I recommend this chiropractic office to anyone. I had a serious accident over a year ago when I was rear-ended by a Mack truck traveling highway speeds on I-66. I believe that without the chiropractic treatment from Dr. Hutton, my neck and back would be in terrible shape.
This is the "best" chiropractic practice in town. The service is excellent and they are always friendly and very responsive to your needs. I drive 1 hour each way to see them, so what does tell you? That are the BEST in town!
I had a back injury that was causing severe sciatica pain down my leg and went to the doctor for medicine which was a temporary fix. I figured I'd give this place a shot and I was instantly delighted by the pain relief as well as the welcoming atmosphere that this practice radiates. All the assistants are wonderful and they get to know you on a personal level as well as the doctors. I exclusively was helped by doctor Carrie and she us fabulous. Everytime shed ask me how the pain was and she did everything in her power to make me feel better. I went from barely being able to sleep (unless I took medicine) to feeling 100% better like before I was injured. I highly recommend this practice and doctor Carrie who is wonderful, kind and passionate about her work/patients.
I've only ever experienced military chiropractors where you're in and out in roughly five minutes. This was my first civilian chiropractor experience and it was amazing! They took the time to really figure out what was wrong with me and provided multiple steps of treatment. I'll definitely be going back!
Excellent place. I have had a headache for the past three days and Dr. Haupt has alleviated that pain for me. I am also pregnant and the headache has put a lot of stress on my body. With my headache relieved, I can now go back to my daily routine and function properly. Always having a smile on her face, Dr. Haupt, greets me with an amazing positive attitude and treats everyone like family. I highly recommend going to Gateway Chiropractic! I have been suffering from severe TMJ and Jaw problems for the past two years. I've seen numerous oral specialists and was under the impression that surgery was going to be the only way to get relief. Through working with Dr. Tom, I have been able to progress in the healing process, and the reassurance from every staff member has made me feel optimistic and supported throughout my journey! I have had my fair share of back pain limiting my walking and daily activities. I have degenerative disc disease and a history of receiving facet joint injections. I have never had relief this FAST! Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to be able to stand up straight and after just 2 days (visits back to back) I am standing up with significant pain relief. I m hopeful that chiropractic care with Dr. Haupt will prevent me from needing surgical intervention again. The techniques she performed paired with the k laser therapy were amazing. I will refer everyone with back pain to go see her!

I had been experiencing pain in my rotator cuff for 4-5 months and tried everything before seeing Dr. Haupt. I went there a couple times a week for a month and feel incredible. Dr. Haupt not only made the pain go away, she was a very personable and pleasant individual!

I was experiencing tingling and numbness in my hands. I went to my primary doctor who diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome and sent me to physical therapy for six weeks which did not help. During a regular appointment with Dr. Alicia, I discussed my symptoms with her. She quickly started a treatment on my hands and by my second visit I was almost completely pain free. Now it has been almost a month and I have hardly any tingling and numbness in my hands.

Dr. Haupt is a miracle worker! I know not every body has the same experience or response to treatment, but my experience at Gateway Chiropractic has been one to write home about. At 8 weeks pregnant I experienced a pinched nerve in my neck that caused excruciating pain in my back/shoulder and arm. After almost a week of suffering (no safe medical treatment for pinched nerve during pregnancy) and being out of work I went to the physical therapist (while I support physical therapy, it is not a quick fix) who saw me 2 days in a row then was not planning to see me again for FIVE DAYS! I needed help now, not in five days! At the advice of family and friends I decided to go to the chiropractor. I have never gotten better advice in my life. Dr. Haupt had me feeling relief in just a couple days and she saw me EVERY DAY! When you are in excruciating pain and unable to be excited about your new pregnancy, being seen and feeling like you are making progress every day is important! I didn't know much about chiropractic medicine until this experience, but Dr. Haupt is extremely knowledgeable and a good teacher. She is passionate about, and believes in (as she should), what she does and it makes a great impact on the care you receive. I have never felt like anyone has ever wanted to help me like she did. She is dedicated and compassionate. As a worker in the healthcare field myself, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Now at 19 weeks pregnant, I am nearing the end of my treatment (although the pain was gone long ago), but I know exactly where I will go if I ever feel that pain again. I can't end this review without saying how great the evening staff are as well! They definitely contributed to a great experience.
Dr. Alicia Haupt has been easy to work with, friendly, and helps to get to the root of your issue, and come up with a plan to address it. She also will discuss non-chiropractic solutions such as diet and general well-being methodology. I pulled my back and she has been able to get me almost back to preinjury levels, and i believe in another week or two of going to her will get me back to normal. I would recommend going to see her for your Chiropractic needs.
My name may change but they are always there for me. They are customer orientated and care about your situation. They take the time to listen to you and adjust their treatment accordingly. I have been a lone time customer and they are my go to place when I have issues with my back.

Dr. Hutton is fantastic! Everyone at Gateway Chiropractic is friendly and dedicated to helping you get and remain healthy. I'm a former Marine with a herniated disc. Routine chiropractic care is the only treatment I've received that allows me to train for and run marathons.
