Choosing Gaston Day School for our son has been the best decision we have ever made. From the first time we set foot on campus, it has felt like home. This school is a hidden gem among the greater Charlotte area private schools. The campus grounds are amazing and allow for an outdoor classroom experience with authentic learning opportunities. The hospitality shown by students, faculty and staff, and families is second to none, the academics are challenging and teachers support students' learning, and the food is top notch (an important component to a growing boy). For a school its size, I have been thoroughly impressed with the variety of advanced coursework, sports teams, arts, theater, music and language offerings. An afterschool program that extends through middle school and local bus options makes it easier for families with both parents working outside the home. Gaston Day is living its mission and values and we are proud to be a part of the Gaston Day family.
