Loved that it's free! One of the few things in Colorado it seems. Nice easy "hikes" that are almost all completely paved. Good restroom facility right at the beginning.
Climbing routes available on almost all of the formations but you need to get a permit ahead of time. Looks like they are all technical routes and you need to set your own gear to reach the permanent bolts at the top.
It does get really busy, but lots of room to walk around.

Must visit place in Colorado. Though you are visiting the Garden of Gods, the Visitor Centre is always a must visit place. You will learn a lot about this place history from here. You will see a lot of very old photos of this place from early 20th Century. There is a movie theatre here in the basement you should visit that for sure. I guarantee You may not have seen one theatre like that in you life. Very very unique.

This is a place everyone should experience! We greatly enjoyed the guided walking tour. My daughter will never forget this time. This is a great place to walk and refresh your mind and body. Although a lot of people are in the park, the size, trails, vistas, etc. make it personal and almost private. It is well-maintained and protected. This is a great place for a morning/afternoon visit, picnic, or stay all day and immerse yourself in nature. The Visitor's Center is amazing with tours, exhibits, and trained personnel who know the park and help protect it.

Great place to visit. Your visit can be as short or long as you want it to be and still get a glimpse of the beauty. You can drive the loop and be done in 30 minutes, walk the paved trails, or the many unpaved trails and take in the natural beauty all around in 2-4 hours. Awesome place to visit solo, as a couple, or as a family or groups. You can bring your dogs as well. The visitor center was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. The Cafe had several options for snacks and drinks. Great view if eating from the terrace. We had a picnic lunch at Scotsman Picnic Area, very peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The parking filled up quickly. We got there at 0830, and easily found parking. The visitor center opwns at 0900 and after that, it was quickly full.

Spent our first evening after traveling at this park. We were just lagged and tired. It was a perfect first taste of the area. The trails are easy to still and the stores are amazing. We were too late for the visitor center but maybe next time. Best part..free admission.

I'd been here before but my family's first time. We didn't have a lot of extra time so paid for the open air trolley tour. Our guide, "Santa Fe" was fun, knowledgeable & a great guide! Tour lasts 45 min & was $17/ adult. You don't stop anywhere & get out, but the park is free to get into (donated to city of Col Springs). So you can easily drive across the street & go to the places where you might want to get out, look around & take photos. The popular spots have parking or pull off areas. A recent concrete path is accessible for wheelchairs now too. Very picturesque with Pikes Peak in the background. We did this in the morning & had 12 noon tix for the COG Railway up to the top of Pikes Peak (3 hr trip & only 15 min apart). Family loved both!

Heaven on earth. I really love this place. I was vacationing in Denver (early January 2021) and when asked for placed to visit, this place came on top of everyone list. So I had to check it out. And man, let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed. When you visit Garden of the Gods, make sure you check both the main entrance and get the better view of the mountains on top of the balcony (for those who reads the bible, when you're on top of this balcony it gives you the perspective when God showed Moses the promise land from afar); when you get there you'll understand this. Once you finish your admiration, then drive into the actual mountains and simply enjoy Gods creation. Its breath taking, trust me.

Obviously a must see in Colorado Springs and worth the drive if you re in Denver. Plenty to see including central garden, balanced rock and trails for hiking and light climbing. The gift shop and visitor center have shops, food, and a small museum. We stayed in Hyatt nearby and stopped here 3 times at different times of day. Beautiful!

What amazing place to visit with the entire family. Great views, amazing trails, you definitely need the complete day to really enjoy all the park. The welcome center is also great, the short movie , that shows how the rocks are formed is a great information.
