Always friendly and quick in their drive thru. The one time I had to wait they gave me an extra slice! Highly recommend if you like thick, bready pizza!

Very good pizza and the slices are very nicely sized for the price. I'd definitely go back again.
Salad was boring wrong dressing was deliverd, my cheese pizza had onions in it idk how that happens.. pop was flat, veggies in salad were thinner than paper. Pizza wasn't hot, I live a mile away took an hour to receive the food. That was cold and undesirable. Won't be getting delivery from here again.
When you stop by ask for Mike Porter. Overall best employee and very polite. He'll tell you one hell of a story while he makes your slice.
My wife and I drive here from Crawfordsville, IN every couple months just to get the Gutbuster. The Garcia's on the Purdue campus in Lafayette closed about 20 years ago and try as I might, nothing even comes close. The toppings are always fresh, the crust is slightly sweet, and the sauce tastes like something your grandma made. The one criticism I have is that (at least at this location) they tend to get the pizzas a little over done. It's not a deal breaker for me. I just ask them nicely to pull it a couple minutes early and we're good to go. It's hands down my favorite pizza!
Enjoyed this place since I was a kid and still BEST pizza around! Thanks Ralph and Joe!!
Food was fast, and hot. Ordered a custom slice and it was delicious. Bathrooms we're clean, no complaints.
This place has gone downhill!!! My most recent experience being myself and coworkers calling in order 15-20mins before lunch hour only to find they hadn't started it when we got there. We sat around 25minutes and didn't get to eat on our lunch break. The pizza was mediocre, salad wasn't fresh. The restaurant was filthy and has been in need of renovation for years. Employees seemed a bit dazed and confused aswell. My suggestion is go elsewhere!
Has turned to trash since Ralph and Jo stopped running it and let other people manage it used to be my favorite pizza place my favorite thing was there gut buster but the last few times I've whent I've been extremely let down the veggies on the pizza have been cold and the cheese want even hot and then when I complained I got no return or offer of replacement and have not gone back since this was several months back and like I said used to be the best pizza around hopefully some day it will make a comeback
As a formerly employee (25 years ago). I was disappointed with the pizza. If ordering by the slice make sure it just came out of the oven. Sometimes the pizza sits put too long.
A must have at least once while you're in town. I used to go to the old one, but go to this one now. Same great pizza. A little old school, but I like that sometimes.
One of my favorite pizza places for many years. The stuffed pizza is a true pizza pie. Takes a while to bake, but it's amazing.
The place is filthy! The food was ok. Service was terrible. One employee was about to lose his sweatpants. ( hanging below his butt). My husband stood at the counter for ten minutes waiting for service before we finally yelled for someone to come help. NEVER AGAIN!
I Garcia's! I've been coming here..since I was a freshman in high school. And it's still the same.
To be honest I've had cheaper, fresher tasting, over all better pizza from the food court in the mall. I was shocked at the prices at first, $13.95 for a medium cheese "thick crust" pizza that was very clearly frozen previously. The crust was dense and almost stale, and for being a thick crust pizza the crust was only maybe half an inch thick. The cheese was rubbery and the over all taste was just very bland. (We ended up having to add our own seasonings at home to make it palatable) On top of this absurd starting price it's $1.50 for each topping that you want on the whole pizza, it's cheaper for half and half toppings but to get a medium pizza with three toppings was $18.45.
We tried this place after moving to the area from Urbana because my mother loved Garcia's when it was still under the original management, clearly it has gone way down in quality since they left. You're better off getting chain delivery pizza to be honest, or you could wait until Giordano's comes to Market Place which would be about the same price but much better quality.
They pizza was okay, but generally disappointing. The atmosphere was like a place that use to be hip and fun, but has fallen out of favor.
The parking lot looks like a chop shop, the interior is old and dingy, and the health department score on the door should have sent me packing. We had a deep dish and a thick crust. We tried the place because we had a good coupon. It was definitely a mistake. I expected more from the deep dish. It's a ton of dough but very little cheese. The thick crust tasted old. Highly unimpressed.
Still love a gutbuster never had any problems with ther pizza
Pizza came pretty dark and burnt. Not a terrible taste
Great employees great food rock on flying tomatoes
Have ate this pizza since I was a kid. Ive always had a great expierence. Go for the heavyweight :)
The pizza of my childhood, as amazing as ever. I get it once or twice a year and there is NOTHING better.
I love going to get pizza. This is the best pizza ever!!! Every one who lives around here this is a good place to go.
Really like how they NEVER have baby stuffed pizza ready at 11 like they advertise,. Seems like it depends on what manager is working
I don't usually like Mexican food but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and ambiance of this place.
Can't go wrong with a tasty slice of pizza and a side salad. The spinach and mushroom stuffed pizza is found nowhere else.
I used to love garcia's pizza. Haven't had it for a long time. It was okay, bit not great. Everything seemed rather dingy.
Apparently this place used to be a lot more popular in the 70s and 80s so unless you are coming here for nostalgia I d say skip it. The pizza isn t that great and it s a bit overpriced. The service was friendly but the overall atmosphere of the place is weird.
Had to save a slice for tonight's dinner. Two thumbs UP
My top one or two places to go for pizza @45 years old I've been eating there since I was prob 5or 6 years old the owner Ralph is a great guy and a family friend and still to this day is at the store in Champaign working everyday just like I remember when I was a kid I don't know where these other people are eating at that are complaining like this guy under me but he's a idiot and very wrong about garcias I so glad they reopened the store in Bloomington keep up the great work Ralph
Not bad, but very sad compared to the Garcia's of my college days
Quite possibly the best tasting and best in overall quality pizza I've ever had. There is something about the combination of tomato sauce and spices that make this pizza really stand out. The crust retains the right degree of moisture and the dough itself is flavorful. The toppings are among the best, especially the Italian sausage. The Gutbuster pizza is famous among the college students. You haven't had pizza till you've had Garcia's.
We ordered the deep dish gutbuster. The sausage was in small pieces and no flavor. Did not see much in pepperoni. Crust was good. Flavor of pizza not so good. Not like it use to be in the older days. I miss those days. Overly priced for what we got.
Great pizza, great atmosphere. Got there at 8 or after, with a group of 5 guys, my airsoft team. We're from mid Missouri, we love finding little pizza shops like this. One guy was running the whole show. He was spot on with our orders, we didn't wait terribly long and we honestly weren't bothered if it did. pizza was perfect. Bread sticks good too! Wish I would've got his name. Try this place!
Horrible pizza! Not like old days!!! Called and complained, Ralph ( yes of Ralph and Joe) told me two weeks ago he would give me zoom free gift certificates for my inconvenience, never got them!!! Do not promise if you are not going to keep your promise
This used to be the best in town. Needless to say all the other places have up their game except for Garcia's. Very disappointing
