Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre Review

Great little live music bar venue inside the Cap to jam to smaller name bands. Total Jerry!

Small place with good sound. When they have live music the tickets are usually pretty cheap. The show I went to was $25 (before the added fees).

Great acoustics. Music nearly every night of the week occasionally no covers and if there is a cover its often under $20.00. Beers are $10 on average but this is a music venue and you will hear incredible bands and artists.. Connected to the Capitol Theater. Is this the best place for live music in the region? Quite possibly.

I received absolute disrespect from the ticket takers. My boyfriend and I entered the wrong line, but instead of redirecting us, the woman scanned our tickets. We were unaware that we needed wrist bands, so we went back to the woman and she said I scanned balcony tickets, I don t know what tickets you re holding , which implied we were lying. Instead, of her just admitting she may have made a mistake, she tried to seem like she s little miss perfect with the attitude. Then some other worker also wanted to argue with us by saying, you went on the wrong line, it s your own fault . This could have been a very simple fix, but all this disrespect when the concert wasn t even that packed really started my concert night off bad. I didn t spend money on a concert to be harassed by the unhappy ticket takers who clearly can t do a simple fix for a paying customer.

Ed the bartender is the best! We had a great night!

Did not eat there since the night of our concert, next door, they opened a large door and catered to the venue, drinks only as far as I could tell.

Very clean and a long spacious space. They have leather seating area along one of the walls with low tables for people to chat and lounge. Stage was in the back and bathroom was very clean and orderly. They have Pabst, that's always a plus in my book.

The beer and the bar are amazing. The Jerry Garcia memorabilia are fantastic. Great bands are there on Fridays and it's usually only $15.

Nice venue that is part of the main Capital theater. Nice variety of tap beers and snacks. But no one is really here for the eats---its the MUSIC!
