Gamer Concepts Online provided the perfect showcase for my new round dice set. It’s genuinely fun to assemble, and I’m already considering staining it to see how it looks.

Picked up this model at Dragoncon and the design is genuinely impressive, though the build process was a bit of a headache. The fit is incredibly tight—tighter than I’ve experienced with other wooden kits, and while the instructions list a hammer as optional, it’s practically a necessity. The instructions also lack clarity regarding piece orientation, which led to a few frustrating misassemblies. I actually snapped piece 48 trying to force it to turn after realizing it was assembled wrong, and there’s even a typo in the manual (it labels a part as 43 when it’s actually 44). Despite the frustration and the broken piece, I still really love how it looks and would recommend it, provided you take your time and double-check every step before proceeding.
