Used the free pick up service that is offered for our vehicle and its been nothing but disappointing. First time we booked you were two hours late, second time you were two hours late and never showed up, we had to call and see what was going on, only to be told by the service department that they could not find us in the system even though we had confirmation email from Hannah. We reached out via email to Hannah to ask what had happened and she never replied, really unprofessional Hannah. The two stars that I did leave are for the super friendly gentleman that works the service counter, great job.

Went to this dealership as I had low tire pressure indication on dash board. Though vehicle was not purchased from here guy on service counter helped me to fix problem.
But initially he asked me for 35 $ for checking that problem which is weird as normal any ford dealer will look into it without charging. Anyways it was happy ending.

I called him back at 5pm and he told me they were very busy. It is not 11pm and still no numbers back. I gues their having a really good day.

3 times for service 3 times terrible service and mechanic work and diagnostics. They are nice unless you ask a question then the nastier and more defensive they get. Lesson learned! Thank goodness I found way better owner operated mechanics in Milton.

Great Staff, Great Prices and a Great Choice of Vehicles to choose from. Tony and Richard helped me with the purchase of my new vehicle. Been there a couple times this week after the purchase to drop off paperwork. Everytime I step foot in Ford in Milton I am greeted with the same respect and offered a coffee / water. Being in customer service for over 10 years now this was great because it was the first time I myself have ever been offered. Will be purchasing from this location in the future again

Had an appointment for service today. Dropped the car at 9:30 am as scheduled. Called at 7:30 pm and was told nobody looked at it. Had to go pick it up as is. Seems they forgot about it.
Not going back to the dealership again. This is totally unacceptable.

Yet another let down from a dealership. I brought my vehicle into Gallingers 2 weeks ago after a horrible experience at Terrace in Burlington, only to be equally disappointed at the service I received today. I had told them when I brought the vehicle in that the part I needed was mislabeled in the catalogue and I was assured that they would order what I needed and the work would be done. Shockingly enough, after taking yet another day off work, I receive a call that they ordered the wrong part!!! Between complaints to Lincoln Canada and the utter incompetence from the dealership, I wonder why anyone would purchase and or take their vehicles into these dealerships.

I went in with a issue covered by warranty. The service was so bad, the guy basically told me to beat it. I was expecting this type of service in a 2nd world European country where service doesn't exist. I'm sorry but if you work there then it's your job to help me. Maybe the people at this old dealership don't like outsiders. It's a shame, I'm coming to an end on my payment term and I was thinking about buying another Ford. Now I know gallinger is for douchebags.

Oh and the issue wasn't fixed.

My experience was amazing, I went in to check out a 2016 5.0 convertible mustang, and was treated great and in amazing hands, staff is very nice and helpful, also gave me the best price on the mustang 5.0 2016, and an outstanding price on my trade in.
A deal was made in an hour and overall very happy with there service, have good stock, and an amazing comfortable building, walked out with an amazing MINT car that I've been wanting for a very long time, recommended to everyone.

He even came in on his day off after me needing to push pickup date of the vehicle up a day earlier. Purchased a mustang new in 2015 and I have had issues with the a.c. from the start. I recently moved to Milton, so I brought it to Gallinger Ford to have them fix the leak before my warranty was up. The service rep stan I dealt with was rude and not helpful. They did not fix my problem and told me "What do you want me to do? I could not find it". They acknowledge the car has an a.c. leak but they can't find it so they keep filling it up and making me pick up my car. If you have the choice, I recommend visiting another dealership or mechanic for your service.

The first dealership I went to in Burlington, Discovery Ford also stated it had a leak but they could not find it and to see if it leaks out again because the have now added a dye to find the leak. It did, and that is why I ended up at Gallinger. I cannot speak for the sales or sales reps as I have not purchased from them. The other 2 service reps I dealt with when I picked up the car were polite. I am leaving a negative review because of how my service rep handled the situation and because they couldn't fix my car or wouldn't .

In response to your message, I was not told to bring it back, but simply that you couldn't do anything and to come pick it up. It was not until after I called Ford Canada, and the dealership i purchased the vehicle from (as instructed by Stan when i asked what i can do he told me i dont know go to the place you bought it from) and address my concerns with the other service advisers (who were very friendly and professional) they then informed me that when it leaks again to return, but again this was not until after i explained i was going to bring it somewhere else since Stan told me to. Had I not complained to them about Stan nobody would have ever told me to come back.

I met with both Dave Veino and Mr. Gallinger today regarding my issues with service technicians 2+ years ago. I had been taking my car to a licenced mechanic friend for anything beyond tires ever since.

Dave Veino (Sr Service Manager) was fantastic- he addressed the concerns I had- he mentioned 3 technicians were fired due to lacking performance since his being hired in November 2015. With over 30 years experience Mr. Veino put me at ease. I made it clear I did not want anything- just to inform them of the issues as I realized they were never forwarded to management before.

My rating has gone from 1 star to 3- why not 5? Well- I'll see if this is a changing of the guard or a legitimate shift in business practice. I would like to be able to use Gallinger as it is 5 mins from my house, but my trust- and business will take time to grow. We'll see- and I will update.

Extremely disappointing purchase experience. I had the misfortune to stop at Gallinger Ford in my search for a new truck. Even if the process started very pleasant and relaxed, it turned into a series of unprofessional excuses and explanations for not receiving the repairs and changes on the car agreed at the moment of purchase.
On the delivery day (delayed as well) I found myself in the position to pick up the truck without any repairs and changes done. The salesmen changed the story 3 times over a 2 hour period why the changes were not done (it felt like a really dishonest experience). After another renegotiation of the terms and next future steps, I left the dealership with little hope that things will be resolved as promised.
I called after two weeks just to get the same we will have to arrange everything and will call back next day to let you know . I called the office after one month to find out that the salesmen is no longer available and again we will call back in an hour with an answer .
After couple of days I had to leave my work and go to the dealership only to find out the same excuses and dishonest explanations, but this time from management.
I am writing this with the hope that the Sales department will make some changes on their approach to customers. At the end of the day yes, they sold a truck but everything else around it was disappointing, bitter and disrespectful. I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

If you want a Ford by it from Fattore! Mr. Fattore is the best salesman period. I purchased a 2018 F-150 Lariat for my business and coudn t be happier. Rob knows what he is selling and has given me the best price and service that I believe I could get. Trust me, I have done some shopping around and he bet everyone! I called 2 weeks ago to book a winter tire change and take care of a recall on the passenger airbags.
I was told no problem and given a drop off time of 11AM; was told it would take a few hours.
Yesterday, I arrived at 11AM. Joe (the gentleman at the service desk) said that they may not be able to do the air bag since not sure if he has the parts. I was a little surprised, but sure - it happens. He asked me when I'd need my car back - I mentioned 3PM as I had to be back in another city for work later that evening. I took their shuttle back home.

3:30PM - No call. I called. Joe answered. "Closer to 5PM. It's busy. But, we have the parts for the airbag - we will do that too."
I was a little worried because 5PM was cutting it very close, but sure.

5:30PM - No call. I called. Joe answered. At this point, I was quite surprised that 6.5 hours in, I had heard nothing.
Joe - instead of listening to my worry and concern - went on a rant, not listening to anything I had to say. He rudely said, "I dont know what to tell you, man. There's a lotta cars here. If you need your car, come get your car and rebook for another time." Meaning, that 6.5 hrs in, the tires still hadn't been swapped. Frustrated, I asked him when he thinks the car would be ready. He said, "8PM, 9PM. Sometime tonight. I dont know what to tell ya. Itll get done tonight."
At this point, I had no choice, and I said okay.
I borrowed my parent's car to go to work.

8:30PM - My parents went to pick up my car. There was NO shuttle available. Meaning, had it not been for them, I had no way of getting to the dealership if I were alone.
The air bags were never put in - despite the recall, and the parts being available.

Conclusion - 9.5 hours for a winter tire change. An extremely rude front desk personnel. And, a recall on a dangerous part (potentially fatal as per Ford's letter), which was supposed to be replaced, but never got done.

EXTREMELY disappointed and, frankly, angry with this experience.

WILL NOT RETURN. And, I will ensure that others hear about this experience.

My wife and I recently bought an Escape from Gallinger Ford. Based on our past experiences with other car dealerships I was expecting this to be yet another stressful arm wrestling contest and being left with at least some degree of feeling like we're being manipulated or lied to.

This time, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Robert Fattore and Richard Nelson made our experience very painless and actually enjoyable.

Robert went above and beyond helping us decide which car to choose while working out, along with Richard, a deal that worked best for us. These guys are top notch.

I definitely look forward to more smooth transactions in the future.

This is the best place to buy an imaginary car! Took our down payment promised the car with in 48hrs which was important to us as we found ourselves unexpectedly without a car. They waited 4 days to call only to tell us the car was gone. At 9am The sales manager took over, we asked for an explorer with a tow package everything else was negotiable. We expected he would call back with a few options but instead took until 1pm on the last day of Ford employee pricing to tell us he couldn't find anything. This left us scrambling to find a different car and dealership before midnight our loose out on the sale.

Started as Worst auto service ever. Asked specific questions on billing and pricing before handing over the keys for a simple service, and on completion was informed of exceptions to the pricing, in the end charging a ridiculous invoice and nothing was fixed because they did not stock a common part. A $150 waste of time and money on "no charge service" on a car with less than 4k km. However, a follow up call from the dealership service centre set things right with an apology and refund with an offer to give the vehicle a complete inspection after my car was rear ended the same morning that they called.

In the end a positive experience, despite the rocky start.

So, here we are a year later, and guess what? Service is back to 0 stars.
After making an appointment, several weeks ago, for a simple oil change, and installation of my winter tires, I showed up 15 minutes early for the appointment. I was told that my appointment was not in the system. After several minutes of walking back and forth, they finally found the appointment booking. Handing in my keys, I went into the sales area to look at the new Mustang (I have been considering buying one for some time). Before I can find a sales agent, Service comes back looking for me. Apparently an oversight, as my tires never arrived from the off-site storage. I was asked to come back the next day.

Rather than just go back, I waited and called to see if my tires had arrived. No, they had not, I was told. Try again tomorrow morning.

I called again this morning, and was bounced around from person to person until my call finally landed on a phone that went to voice-mail. And still, no return call or update on the status of my tires. I cannot even go in, pick up my tires, and take them someplace else to have them changed, because Gallinger cannot find the tires.

So far, I have had to take time off, and been delayed by several days. I have had to postpone a trip up north because of the lack of snow tires.

Now, all I want are my tires, so I can put them on myself. And as for buying that Mustang, I will set up an appointment with a more reliable Dealership.

Absolutely horrible experience in dealing with the dealership and I would suggest anyone looking to buy a new Ford to steer clear of this dealership. The information contained in this testimonial is 100 percent accurate and I have email records of everything I am going to say in here.

I was looking for 2019 F150 Lariat trim truck. Like any informed customer, I "built" my truck on Ford website and sent that built to different dealerships to solicit a price. I did that with the aim of removing any ambiguity in the pricing whatsoever and to compare apples to apples.

Ray Dunbar and his manager Sunil from Gallinger Ford reached out to me. Their initial offer was $65,675.00 +HST. I let them know that I have been quoted a price of $ 61,872 with free oil changes for lifetime by their competitor. Ray replied to my email, "is the offer you received $61872.00 + HST ONLY for a Cash purchase or with you utilizing the Ford Credit 72 month financing at 0.99%." My reply was "it is with financing". Ray said that they would offer it for $59,900 + HST. I called him to verify the price on phone and specifically told him in the email that I do not want any last minute surprise. He assured me of no surprise and no gimmicks.

My wife and I reached the dealership, went over the built and verified that all the components were listed on the truck order. We met another personnel Richard who took my personal information and we went to his office to go over details of additional warranty options. Richard then informed me that the interest rate is 4.99%. And I was annoyed and surprised at the same time.

Sunil walks back into the office and then starts explaining to me that he can only offer me the truck at a higher price with .99% financing. And, he has no answer for the shady deal and wasting my time.

Sunil guarantees me that no dealership will offer me the truck for the low price of $61,872 even though I have the competitors quote in an email. I ask him if he will be willing to bet to give me 4 oil changes if I get the truck on that quoted price. He informs me that he has worked for 10 years at Yong and Steeles dealership and no way am I getting that price. And when I push for a bet, he changes tactic and says he is not sure of the price and basically chickens out.

No wonder dealerships are often mentioned as "stealerships" and Gallinger Ford is an epitome of the stealership mentality. To future customers, be safe and avoid this dealership. Be careful, very careful in dealing with them.

My water pump started leaking on my 2013 Ford Escape. Seeing as I was too far from my mechanic and this dealer was around the corner I quickly drove in. They did a quick assessment on the spot and I left it over the weekend. Seeing as the vehicle had over 200k they suggested that I replace a few of the belts and one of the motor mounts. I thought this made sense and the price seemed reasonable for the work that was going to be provided. I recently took the vehicle in for an oil change to my mechanic and had him verify that all the work I was billed for was completed and that it looked good, he confirmed that it was all done. This is my first time dealing with this dealership as I usually deal with Erinwood or Kennedy for new vehicle purchases but I will be considering them for my next vehicle purchase. Thanks again for fixing my car and getting me back on the road so quickly.

It's unfortunate I'm purchasing a vehicle from here if I can turn things around I wouldn't have. The service is sub par. Making me feel so uncomfortable. I thought as a salesmen It's all about first impressions and future sales. I definitely will not be buying back at gallinger ford. Not worth the drive out for me especially with the service. This is strictly directed to the staff that deal with the sales of a vehicle.

The reception was polite quick and actually smiled and greeted me. Everyone else I got some form of a what are you doing here? Are you lost vibe? Defiently not what I was expecting especially that I have been shopping around at different dealers and was a total 360 from here and the funny thing is I knew what I wanted from gallinger.

Intitally I wanted to wait for the gentlemen that I spoke to over the phone inquiring about the car. Ran into another salesmen and honestly got a way better vibe from him then who I initially came to see and wish I went with the first gentlemen.

Every step of the process was such a drag for them it seemed like noone was really enthusiastic that they were selling a vehicle. It shouldn't matter used or new $2000 or $60000. I'd think that making the customer feel important for the 30 min process of everything is key. There shouldn't be any doubt of any kind. The vibe sucked plain and simple.

I called in the morning to speak to the salesmen I was dealing with to ask for a request I didn't get the answer I wanted which is okay. I was calling just to ask. The salesmen response to my question was very blunt. "No. We're done. I don't even know what you're talking about haven't heard of those things before" "I'll ask and send you a text back when to call"

This was at 930am on a Thursday. I'm writing this review at 830pm the same day. Did I get a text? No. Was I under the impression that I shouldn't waste the salesmens time now that he was done with me? Yes.

Another thing I emailed a gentlemen twice regarding paper work to be sent over to me so I can send it over to my insurance broker. He didn't email me back and i didn't think to much about it. He called me I brought it up to him he knew about it said he was busy and he'd send me the information before days end. No real urgency it feels like, But when it was time for them to get information from me and cash from me it felt like I had a gun to my head and wanted it before I left the building. Sure that's maybe how it works but like I said the feeling is what sucked; the way everything came across.

Didnt include names because I'm sure these gentelmen are great people and no need to get people in trouble. Just wanted to let people know how my expirence is going with gallinger ford.

It's sad to say this, not my first time buying a car but first time buying from a dealership; and it's totally turned me off. Couple oil changes were thrown into the deal and I don't plan on using them. I would have rather spent more for a vehicle at another dealership then save the couple thousand and recieve this service.

I don't know if I should be apologizing to gallinger for walking through those front doors for the burden of purchasing a vehicle off them or if they should be changing their attitudes at work and just maybe remembering that happy customers is what sells future cars.

I'm in on Saturday the same week to finally pick up the vehicle. Like usual just brushed off to the side just waiting in the customer waiting area. I was told to be here between certain times and I still can't get served on time or with some urgency. I don't know if I'm excited about the process ending with gallinger ford or to pick up my vehicle.

It comes time to get in my vehicle and the one thing I was promised I'd recieve along with a couple oil changes were weather tech floor mats. First thing I see they aren't there. The salesmen forgot to tell the lady weather it's one or two holes. Now I have to chase after something I was promised.

At the end of the day my expirence here at gallinger ford was horrible. Regret driving this vehicle off the lot.

One of the most sought after Ford Dealerships in the country. My sales person Rob is an excellent guy. He is extremely knowledgeable,I was so confused with different trucks in the market. He helped me with the best solution to suit my needs. He went out of the way even delivered my truck to my home. I highly recommend if you are looking for a Vehicle specialist or a car/truck guy Rob Fattore is the man. I am planning my second purchase from him in the coming months. I would like to also thank the business manager Richard for his very prompt , friendly advise and service. The management team is very customer oriented and friendly. Thank you Drew(Sales Manager).

Terrible experience, stay away, ordered 2 new F150s and promised to have the vehicles 6-8 weeks when 8 weeks is maximum, after 7.5 weeks I called to ask for eta and was told there is a problem with some packages and can't be built, I am stuck without a vehicle and they denied a loaner request, very hard to communicate with them and getting answers, STAY AWAY

Went in to look at vehicles back in 2013, and ended up buying a Ford Fusion SE the very next week. Sales rep was very nice and professional. Only thing after a year's reflection is that I wish he pointed our that buying the higher end model got me most of the things I was adding on to me SE model and wouldn't of cost me any different in the end(and would of got a few extra things). More my fault for not doing my research, but would of been nice of him to point out.

I've always returned twice a year for my regular checkups and tire swaps, even though there is another dealership much closer. I've always had great service, and the staff have always been helpful.

Awful service experience. Charged extra $100 for things that are typically included in the oil change service.
After error was spotted, they did not care to help, on the contrary.
The things inspected were estimated at an $800.00 bill. Took it to an honest mechanic (not ford) and diagnosed nothing wrong. Keep on driving car, and it is fine.
What a rip-off. Based on the reviews for this dealership and other dealerships there is no hope from ford.
Just wondering if FORD CANADA is doing anything at all to mend these problems.

To me, the test of a good dealership is the service you get AFTER you hand over your money to them. This dealership failed big time. I recently bought a used car on the claims of all services brought up to date with a good safety. Now I find myself spending money on safety issues and finding that the air filter wasn t even changed with Gallinger offering no help and pointing me to Ford Canada (I felt like I was wasting their time). I have to replace 3 cars in the next 5 years I will find a dealership that appreciates my business and recommend that you verify Gallinger s claims.
