My daughters are 9 and 7 and we have celebrated 4 birthdays there. We have seen some plays when they were on location and seen the show at their theater. We started off with the location on 26th street and really like the atmosphere there. This past Saturday we had my daughter s 9 year old birthday and the kids had a blast! The show is very imaginative, funny and well acted as always. It s interactive enough for the children as well. We are from Europe and we like the real stories, not the Disney version of them and the kids enjoyed them too. The new location in TriBeCa is perfect for us as we live walking distance. The staff is very helpful as soon as you arrive and take care of everything if you let them. It s particularly nice to have the actors help out in their costumes for pizza and cake. Overall we are extremely satisfied and are looking forward to more birthday celebrations there!

Witty kids fairy tales. Audience participation is encouraged.

My five year old has really come into his own since he started participating in the Galli Theater after school program and vacation camps (in German and English). He loves to make people laugh on stage and can t wait to perform German fairy tales. It s such a great development program for kids who feel shy in front of others and can learn how to express themselves with confidence. I highly recommend Barbara and her team. They are amazing with kids and have a great sense of humor which makes the shows so much fun to watch. Even the fairy tales played by the Galli team actors are worth watching with the whole family.

Galli Theater has lead programs at our Afterschool for the last three years and they are amazing! Our children are elementary age and need both a tender touch and enthusiasm, and they continually bring both. At the end of each year the kids do a big performance and it is always amazing to see our children, who start without German speaking experience, do a full production in German. We love Galli Theater!

Had my kid's 3rd bday party - "a show and a party" package, which included a private interactive show for us, followed by pizza & cake.

They were very helpful from beginning to the end. Answered all my questions promptly, gave me recommendations without being pushy. Booking and planning were easy, I really had not much to do beforehand. On the day of the party, they were very attentive - again, I didn't need to do anything logistical and was able to focus on greeting the guests and enjoying the party.

The show they recommended for our age group (mostly almost-3 yr-olds, ranged from 1 to 5, plus parents) was Cinderella. It was as enjoyable for the grown-ups as for the kids. Many of the kids had never been to a theater before and some got a bit scared/confused when the house light first went out, but the interactive nature of the show made it easy for the kids to get into it. They make it quite fun and accessible.

After the show, they served pizza and then had a delicious customized cake for us. The whole time, the actors were around, interacting with the kids... totally blew their minds to talk to the characters :D

All in all, it was so memorable. Planning was so easy and smooth, people were so helpful and attentive - as someone who usually obsesses and stresses over event planning, I was lost... everything was done well, nothing went wrong, so I was left with no choice but to sit back, relax, and enjoy!

every parent in NYC, New Jersey, CT, or up and down the East coast should make an effort to come and see this fantastic theater. they bring laughter and joy to both parents and kids! I can't say enough great things about them!

Are these people still open? I thought they had closed down. Had a poor experience there interning for them when I was a Highschool student. They were utterly disorganized, asking a 4'11 skimpy teenager like me to pick up a BIG cake, last minute. Not to add there shows were so cheesy and the theater lacks light and luster. I would personally never hold my future childrens party in such a place, so tacky, and for those that are too lazy to do something so simple and so valuable (on a personal note) for my child. I mean, you can save so much. Save yourself the trouble and child labor...

Oh my god! I took my children to the theater and they are amazing! I have Never Seen such great plays. The actors were great and the content of the plays are stunning for the Kids. I really like the Galli Theater NY and I ll go there more often!!

Love this theatre! Wonderful actors and actresses along with fun and audience participating performance. A perfect fit for a family outing. I highly recommend Galli for any party, weekend activity and camp!

We had my daughters 4th birthday party at the Galli Theatre today and what a fantastic party. Barbara and her staff where incredible from start to finish. The kids loved the show, laughing, dancing, interacting and having a blast. The smile on my daughter s face said it all! Could not have been happier with the party!
Lots of messages from friends on what a wonderful time they had. I would recommended the theatre to anyone looking for a truly terrific, fun, unique, creative, engaging birthday party.

We have had three (yes three!) total birthday parties at Galli because we love them so much. Our kids always have a great time- love how creative the shows are, and how interactive- kids and grownups have loved these parties. Cannot recommend them warmly enough. Pleasure to have- and a way to include our daughter's whole class.

Simon and Barbara could not have been more amazing! Simon kept the kids engaged, the kids loved how fun, funny and interactive it was!!! I got rave reviews from all the parents!!! Thank you so much! I am very grateful for Gali theater company for coming out and making it a great night!!

This is the second birthday party that my son has had at Galli Theater and it is by far his favorite place to celebrate. For parents it is a super easy party as Barbara takes care of the pizza, cake and goody bags! The new location in Tribeca is perfect because it accommodates lots of friends so we can invite everyone, unlike many of the other party spots that are constrained by space. We watched Rapunzel this time and the kids were very engaged by the actors. The birthday boy and his friends all had a fabulous time together and created wonderful memories that made a huge impression on them. The show sparked their creativity as they now enjoy acting in the school yard together and my son comes home with wonderful stories every day.

I suggested to my clients that Galli Theatre in Tribeca would be a great place for their kids birthday party. I was a bit nervous because they are high value clients and hoped their kids would have a good experience. I got a call in the evening from them telling me how much fun their kids had and how they were still raving about the interactive show kids were a part of. They also had a pizza party afterwards and the kids had a fantastic experience. If the kids are happy, everyone will be happy.

We had birthdays with Galli Theater, have been to plenty of shows, and attended the school break camp during winter and summer breaks. It is always a success! The kids love their experiences, and the new space downtown is great!

Awesome place for birthdays combined with a beautiful exposure to the art of on-stage theater

We have attended several theater productions and children s birthday parties here and it s always fantastic.
The staff are super friendly and it s a great place for kids to enjoy the arts and be entertained.
The birthday parties are perfect. They have a show and then pizza and cake. It s such a valuable resource to have this option in the city. Most of all it s wonderful to support a local business. Would highly recommend!

My daughter and I love this theater! We ve probably seen all their shows and always look forward to the new one. They have an amazing group of actors!
They also have an excellent summer camp and their Birthday parties are always huge hits with kids, we celebrated my daughter s Birthday there 3 times.

The Galli Theater is truly a wonderful asset to lower Manhattan! The performances are entertaining and engaging for both children and adults! The birthday parties encourage children to use their imagination, express their creativity and have fun. Five stars!!!!

I took my niece and nephew to their new space... IT WAS FANTASTIC. The kids were consistently entertained. And it really is interactive. We went to a performance of The Three Little Pigs, and they left singing all of the wolf s songs. I can t wait to take them back, just haven t had the time.

We were here for a birthday party for a four year old friend of my daughters. We watched a three person play - Rapunzel. The actors did excellent and they entertained the children. There was a room to eat pizza and cake. The facility is a little old but this was really a fun and unique bday experience. Even my 1.5 year old enjoyed it.

Very small space, not enough characters. Not enough history for the children's and their little minds.I found the play a total waste of time; I was under the impression that it was a show worth watching but I can do better at home.
In what story does sleeping beauty, fall asleep on a chair? Ridiculous my child can understand & when she questions that I won't know what to answer! She already questioned why so short!!!
To top the it off the same bug that bite the princess arms, bite me in my face and I felt scratchy all over,,,
Disappointment _

My 8 year old daughter has been doing Galli camps and classes for the past 4 years and always enjoys them. She's thrilled to spend time with Simon and the team and I'm always amazed how they manage to put on a full performance at the end of the camp and to see the proud look of accomplishment on all their faces. Communication is easy and responsive with the parents and the entire team are both warm, fun and engaging with the kids both as a group and at an individual level. They really seem to take the time to get to know the kids and my daughter has a great affection for them as a result. I highly recommend Galli Theater!!

The Galli theater is a big part of our school programs since years. Our children participate in their own plays and learn how to act out different characters.
We love working with them and most importantly the children really enjoy their performances.

Our 6-year-old daughter just spent the week at Galli Theater and she loves it. The people are so nice and she was looking forward to going back again.

It was a great place and I loved it. It could be more amazing. But I appreciate it. Anyone should visit the theater.

Galli Theater has been a wonderful place for my kids to learn, have fun and explore their creativity. Simon and his team are fantastic actors and have a great ability to pull out a performance from even the most shy child and a giggle out of everyone. It s a great afterschool opportunity and the summer camp is simply divine, the end of week performances make for great memories. I highly recommend it.

Nice place for children (aged from 3 to 7). Shows are great. People are nice. Buy your spots on livingsocial or ask the staff to match the price.

Just had my daughter s 6th birthday party at Galli Theater. What a wonderful team of people who run the place! The performance was excellent, interactive and fun. The birthday feast very well organized. The kids repeating this is the best birthday ever - all you need to know and hear! Thank you, guys!

Our 7 and 5 year olds attended the winter break camp and had a blast! This is our daughter's fourth year and our son's second, and they look forward to the experience all year long. The group picks a show, puts it together with help from the instructors, and performs at the end of the week. It is adorable and all of the children genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves on stage. Highly recommended!

My daughter recently celebrated her 6th Birthday and had a fantastic party at Galli Theater. The staff was wonderful and made everything seamless. We selected an Aladdin theater performance and the kids loved it. I would highly recommend!

I have 2 trilingual girls and languages are super important in our family. Both my girls have been in Galli Theatre and loved it. We have done their afterschool German Theatre programs as well as the German Theatre Camps. They love the songs and always walk away with the CD's which we then sing to at home for months on end. The faculty is professional, kind, talented and is a delight to be around. We love the arts and we think Galli makes New York City even richer than before and now with a Tribeca location, we are even happier! Thanks Gallie Theatre for all that you do. The plays are wonderful.
