Great neighborhood bar. Saturday 4pm not to busy but great service

Great beer, great service, great food and great atmosphere!

Awesome service & location. I came by to watch the Dodger game and i loved the out door seating area. My server was amazing! She never left me with an empty drink. I also ordered wings and a salad that were a decent size. I hope to come back to enjoy some more games here at Gallagher s.

The food and service were beyond our expectations. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Wonderful spot to take my family out for dinner.

Dog friendly on the patio is a huge plus for us. Delicious Irish food with random dishes thrown in. The Shepard's pie was great but the chicken in my BBQ chicken salad was extra chewy. Had them remake it and took it to go, and it was still chewy when I got home, so that was a waste of money. Staff super friendly.

Great variety lots of good deals and they always have something fun going on every night. You can't be Tuesday buy a burger get one free

We love hanging out. Yesterday we came to this superb place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a delightful experience there with superb dishes and an efficient stuff and a professional cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we will surely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

Their chicken is not frozen but fresh. They batter their fresh chicken in the beer batter used for fish and chips...need I say more? Light, crispy, fresh, and unabashedly coming back for more

Wonderful little pub. The staff is incredibly friendly, the owners are so kind, and the food is delicious.

My coworkers are all from out of town and this is the only spot we can all agree to go for Happy Hour. I took them last year and everytime I try to switch it up to the newer bars, we always end up back at Gallagers. Good is good, drink are cheap and the servers are super chill and friendly.

Food is always good here. Outdoor seating is limited by nice to have. Amazing burgers though and excellent corned-beef hash.

Terrible service. Our waitress was taking hits off some guys pipe, then forgot about us. Cardboard fries. I live right by this place but will never go back.

Thursday Night Karaoke with KJ Jason is awesome. Helps that I live down the street so I can drink without much consiques.

Their daytime server/bartender during midweek is awesome; sweet, calm, cool and collective. They have a big pub style menu at least for lunch. Food is mediocre, not bad. They do have the best tater tots in town! All in all good local Irish pub.

One of my favorite places. Nice selection of drinks, and the food is really good - I have never been disappointed. Try the corned beef!!. The service has always been warm and friendly, and we love the dog-friendly patio.

It's a little unnerving sitting so close to traffic, but worth it to support a local place during this weird time.

While it's known as a sports bar, the food here is amazing. Definitely try the mashed potatoes and get the white mushroom gravy. Corned beef is great too.
But it is still a great sports bar. Tons of TV's, full bar. Especially if you're a soccer fan they show a lot of games here which can sometimes be hard to find. And let's not forget their bottomless mimosa Sunday brunch!

I love that I can pick up dinner on a day when bars and restaurants are closed. Thanks for the corned beef and cabbage

Went in on sunday for NFL. They have football happy hours and $6 bottomless mimosas till 2pm on sundays. Great atmosphere, tons of TV's, overall great place! Check their website for daily deals! I had a patty melt that was amazing!

Gallagher is a great host and often hangs out with his patrons at his establishment on weekends. The food is great and the drinks are not skimpy (I only drink Guinness and Smithwick's here, though). Fantastic live music if you watch the calendar. Sports too, and people get very excited. Strong soccer crowd here.

I'll tell you it was just fun great crowd atmosphere service it was kind of slow because there's so many people which is not a bad thing it's a good thing because a lot of people are there good food good times

Great if you get Kate! She's an awesome server. The Ruben was fantastic. Takes forever to get a table though, on busy nights. The bangers and mash were also awesome!

Great place to watch the games if you're in Long Beach. The service has always been exceptional and their Triva nights are always a blast. I kind of miss their old Political Tuesdays but I suppose that was only with the former LB mayor.

Considering I went on St. Patty's day this place was not as packed as some other places. We actually got some seats 20 minutes after we arrived. We probably just got lucky though. The place was super busy so service was slow but I am not gonna knock them for that considering what day it was. The food was good I got the fish and chips. Fries were not bad and the fish tasted good. They have a decent beer collection and the atmosphere was good. They had live music as well.

Happy hour is super solid, especially on Friday nights! For weekend brunch-goers, they're unlimited mimosa special cannot be beat anywhere else. The service is attentive and super-friendly. The patio is pet- and smoker-friendly, and a great place to sit on a sunny day. Do yourself a. favor and order a sandwich, they're big enough for 2 meals, and are super tasty.

On Cinco de Mayo I got stuck with a group bill because the waitress who first serviced us failed to inform the incoming waitress at shift change we had Separate Checks. So I guess you have to be careful because these people can't do their damn job. Service has always been hit-or-miss, I'm not going to say every experience was bad, but the food isn't that great to begin with. Their average beers can be purchased anywhere else without worry of getting ripped off.
I can't believe the waitress expected to tip after I had to pay an extra $60 for her not being able to do her job. Submitted that was only her second night after training, but how is that my problem? Just beware of this place

I wanted to make this my spot. It's up 2 blocks away.. but today I went in for food and drinks.

Decent spot. $7 cocktails that could be a bit stronger but a nice bar. I would not recommend the garlic mushrooms but the coconut shrimp was good.

I'm not sure how old this place is but it has very authentic feel and look to it . Service is great there is some outdoor seating. Service was excellent and they don't rush you at all. Relaxing

Update: I'm bumping my review from 3 stars to 4! My previous one below was a bit hasty. Football has been on and the service has been great here. Drink specials have been fantastic.

I've watched every Monday and Thursday night football game here since the season started this year. I'm disappointed to find out that they decided to play a L.A. Kings preseason game over a regular season NFL game. I'm a huge NFL and NBA fan but wouldn't expect people who want to watch hockey or soccer sit through NFL/NBA preseason when there's competitive regular season games on the TV. It's just common sense. Needless to say...walked my ass and my money to a place that had the games playing.

Gallagher's is always a fun Irish themed bar to visit. If you like karaoke it happens on Thursdays.
