Everyone who delivers food here is getting really sick of the fact nobody tips. If they really are teaching the kids job skills, THEN TEACH THEM ABOUT TIPPING ETIQUETTE! 10%-15%

It's not that hard people, it's making you guys look very unprofessional.

I hated the place so much. I never gotton so depressed being confined to the god awlful prison like job corps. The place is so run down and the students their are so disgusting and the staff lie to your face and say they care about you when really they dont. The rules are so stupid you cant even walk out the front gates. Ive gotton stuff stolen from me so many times. Im a very good person and i never felt so much hate towards alot of people. Not to mention that you have to be at every graduation. People say its like a prison and it is very true and im glad im not there anymore

Im currently a job corps student attending this establishment it shouldn't even deserve the title of establishment it's HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE The staff here is just the start of it they are immature they use foul language and are soooo disrespectful to the adults and under age children going here now the students OH My goodness wow just wow when I say disgusted with the behavior it sickens me honestly the kids here are not here for success there here to play gossip and bring the students here down that want to succeed to the level there on its honestly a disgusting place with disgusting people there dishes are so filthy you have to wash them out with hot water just to wipe them off and see dirt stains on the napkin you used to clean out the dishes that were already supposed to be cleaned the people here do not care about success at all there is no WIFI No A/C Students are know to have sex outside smoke marijuana the security here is no use I could go on for about a Month on this place it's not the place you want your child to be it's the quickest job corps center that you can get in but honestly it is worth the wait for the other centers to get beds don't do it!!!

I'm planning to go there for advanced training I hope its worth it

Very Good place to work and advance your career. There is room for advancement opportunities. The kids cannot tip because a lot of their parents come from low-income families, so you have to understand their backgrounds. Some kids do tip, but they cannot afford to give 10% to 15%. Heck you're asking more than God. Lol. Things are improving here at job corps it just takes time. Change is not an overnight thing. Be patient. I am a current employee and I feel we treat all the students with respect and dignity. I love my job. I love empowering student who feel powerless. We are all about behavior modification at GJCC. Be patient with us. Give us time to change the things that are out of place. Thank you.

current student here... i came here happy because i wanted to change my life i wanted to get my diploma and my trade and driver license now i"m at the point where i just want my diploma so i can get the hell out this place. the upside of being here is the friends i made that's about it. i only talk to one staff member and that's my ILA ms. There is a sewage problem by the cafeteria and by the boys dorm, the nurses are not very helpful they don't know the correct procedure to find the vein to get blood drawn. I know someone who had to get blood drawn 3 times in 3 different places, this place has no pool. They also have bed bugs, from what ive heard the boys dorm a.c doesn't work, it smells like S*** the dishes are dirty. So much drama at this place

I am a truck driver. I was doing a delivery for PFG across the street. I had some extra time and decided to have my tea at one of two benches in front of the building. I cleaned it as it was dirty and after 10 minutes was asked to leave because I did not have a right to sit there. It was very unpleasant expirience. I felt like I was some scum asked to run away. Very good educational lesson I've got! Keep going!

nasty and unprofessional. went there 2013-14. like a prison and treated like little kids. very few staff that actually cared, the rest were just there for money. from the reviews i see, it still hasn't changed. wish i would've waited for a different center.

As a parent trying to get food delivered to my son, I find is very odd that Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and a few other delivery places REFUSE to deliver food to your building because of the security staff! These kids are at Job Corps for an education and it seems more like a prison. The local facility in Jacksonville hyped this place up, the food is great, it's a great atmosphere so on and so forth but they are fed garbage. My son asked questions about his class schedule and his answer from an instructor was "Nope". His friend and himself beg me to get them the hell out of there every weekend...why is this? Now, I'm concerned. Reading the other reviews from students, I can see my son is not the only one that feels this way.

The hot water didn't work on the boys side. I wonder if it works now......

Gainesville job Corps Center is Nasty, The Staff there are very Rude if i were you i would not send your kids there the place is dirty the food is nasty .the center has alot of kids that are on there campus with Aids /Hiv and the list goes on kids are going there coming back home with babies they dont have good security recently a minor under age female was raped out there by a grown man he was a security guard out there at GJCC that not even the worst part another females was also raped by a student there off campus this center is no good and it gets even worst the food there gets kids sick and they Dont have a good certified doctor out there to help kids when they are in need for help the dishes that the kids eat odd they are very dirty some times they still have food stains on them .you have to wash your cups spoons and things several times before even using it . i know Alot of these things about this center because i recently left because of this situation this is a very dirty center it is unsafe and it should be shut down for good . the staff there they are no help they rather see your kids hurt then try to help so if i were a student and was trying to apply for job corps please do not pick GJCC .

My son attends there and he says, very unorganised. And I'd have to agree with him on that one!!!!! Kitchen staff is racist against white people. White people do not get as much to eat as the blacks do. Bathrooms are extremely dirty, people trash the bathrooms, kids pee in the corner of the rec room. People steal from you. EXTREMLY UNHAPPY!!!!
