The staff at the brewpub is the best. My rental broke down on holiday and I took the Fyne Ales driveway to get off of the road. Everybody was helpful and encouraging while I sorted things out. Tuggy gave me a bottle of Mills & Hills imperial stout to drink in better times. Delicious it was, as were the other Fyne brews I found on tap in the Highlands. Great people make great beer! If you are near, a visit to the pub is a must.

This is a singular place, representing the next phase in the beer revolution beyond the real ale period. It carries a wide variety of beers including the local, "natural" beers, fermented from (mostly) local fruit and yeasts. The manager of the shop had an intimate and detailed knowledge of everything on the shelves and was very helpful and friendly. We came away with a small box of different ales and will certainly revisit next time we're on the way West.

Dear Fyne Ales!

Dear Fyne Ales!
Thank you for a swift reply and handling the problem. I have contacted Jamie who was very responsive and told me he has conducted internal investigation and ironed out the situation. Thank you for understanding and let's hope all drivers will be much more careful and attentive and will still be delivering great beers!

It is more about who FYNE BREWERY EMPLOY! ALMOST I WAS DROVE OVER by the delivery van and the driver did not even stop to ASK HE DROVE OFF!
I just wanted to report that you should take a special care choosing your drivers! Today morning in Edinburgh at the junction of Vieforth and Gilmore place I was almost RUN OVER by your delivery van! I have a fructured wrist pain in neck and a bit rub off skin. But the worrying thing is that even though landing under the wheels of your van the driver did not even stop to ask if I am OK! He just DROVE OFF! Passer-bys stopped to help me! It is outrageous! No one should act like that! Could you please urge your drivers to be humans?!
Kind regards

Friendly staff, great beers, great quiche, comfortable setting...amazing find down a muddy lane. The exterior is all working farm, inside is slightly hipsterish (in a good way) farm brewery rustic chic with the buzz of a thriving business.

Big fan of Fyne Ales. The produce is excellent; award winning across several different parts of their range. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and it's an unexpected little gem of a brewery just a couple of hundred yards off the A83.

Also heartily recommend Fynefest... a weekend beer festival with music and a huge range of beers from around the UK and Europe held in the fields between the river and brewery. The Walker's Bar this year was a great addition :) We will be back next year, and we will doubtless be in at the Tap for a restock of our personal beer cellar before then.

Had high hopes having tried before. Unfriendly disinterested staff member served up warm flat ales. It s the BREWERY for god sakes. Get your own drinks rite. Maybe she or the shop, were having a bad day.....

Superb beer, great bar and friendly staff.

Superb beer, great bar and friendly staff.
My fiancee and I popped in on our way back from Inverrary, luckily I wasnt driving. The manager was great and really knew his beers and was really passionate about his craft. Really glad we popped in and sampled a few as well as taking them away. The mills hills was sublime.

Very nice location, warm and friendly staff, excellent beers (Cask ales, KEGs and cans/bottles were all worth trying! ... so we did try all of them.)

Also a nice bar to just hang out and drink/eat.

We ended up visiting the place to get out of a torrential downpour (or as the locals call it "a wee bit of rain"). What a great stop! The beers (both selection and quality) are very impressive and the staff is very kind, patient & knowledgeable.

Glad to see this amazing place back open.. friendly folks. They even let us bring our own lunch while we sat outside under cover and tasted the ales.. well I had to drive so I couldn't.. boo. Did take the pooches for a wee walk though..

The ales have great potential. Unfortunately the four of us had four warm and stale beers each. I prefer my beer cold and carbonated. It was like a beer that you forgot to open the night before.

If you are in Scotland for the first time and wish to explore local ales then it's the place to visit. The brewery is located in a valley near the picturesque river. It's easy to get to but don't miss the turn. :) You can try around 8 ales from the tap and around 6 bottled beers. JARL is award winning ale, worth trying.

These ales are all excellent. Wide selection for all tastes. Bar crew very happy to let you sample as many varieties as you wish. Savoury pies were inconsistent, however. And no Large t-shirts of any type in stock. Still left with a selection case of bottled beers.

Sadly only passing through, but the Brewpub looks nice and the staff was very friendly. Bought a few bottles to try from their small bottle shop and the beers (Workbench IPA, Jarl, Sanda Black & Maverick) are great. I will definitely plan a longer visit the next time!

We were here at the beginning of June at the beginning of our trip to Scotland and got a guided tour for two and afterwards had the tasting. The team was absolutely nice and we really liked it. Beer was delicious and we would recommend it anytime.
Let's see where you get the beer in Germany, preferably in the vicinity of Stuttgart :-)?

Absolutely worth seeking out or stopping by if you are in the area. Fantastic bartender, excellent beer, and an understandable amount of enthusiasm for all they are doing at Fyne Ales. We loved our experience and I will recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area.
