Went today to buy some key clamp tube, would only cut the tube in half which is still to big for my van, can't cut on the carpark so drove off with the back up and had to cut it in the street, for the sake of 2 more cuts which I would have paid for they are now getting a bad review , wasn't like it was busy in the shop, staff member was miserable, not a great start for a potentially new customer, will use W T Lynns from now on

Very helpful guy, went out of his way to help. Been few times for bike fasteners. Sometimes if you only want one or two nuts and bolts they'll give you them for free. Excellent place.
I always pop to Fwb if I need odd nuts and bolts to fix something. They stock pretty much anything you need for nuts and bolts in af, metric and even imperial. Helpful staff. Free car park and so also sell work wear, tools and much more.

Went 11 August to purchase six M8 x 80mm bolts, incidentally as I did 3 weeks ago when I purchased four M8 x 130mm bolts and a tang 1/2 inch drive bar. To be told, having travelled there that it s policy I can now only buy a box.
Having explained the above, and that I ve used FWB for years he just raised his shoulders.
The shop was empty, Stoke FWB unprepared to make a sale, in a recession. A good, we ll established company, with a good reputation going back to when I worked for the NCB sadly gone down the tubes, why? Who s running the show!!!!

I called in FWB today, I ve been going for years. They have everything in there from nuts washers and bolts to clothing tools and equipment. Staff very helpful and I enjoy shopping in there.
