We started gymnastics about a year ago or so with mommy and me classes and have been every week since! Staff is always smiling, happy and genuinely enjoy working with the kids. The gym is kept clean and maintained. Fully air conditioned, which finding any sport or indoor play area for toddlers is hard to come by it seems. Most importantly my 2.5 year old LOVES every minute. I wish I could give 10 stars, because we truly love everything about Stars! We drive all the way from South Hollywood 1-2x a week if that says anything. Coach Katie and Coach Joel and Coach Bonnie are some of our favorites! Thank you for creating an early love for gymnastics!

Love this place! The staff is great. Location is convenient. And the kids absolutely love it. They somehow manage to make it fun yet constructive with so many kids running around. Both of my children are in the toddler class and look forward to it every week.

The instructor was amazing very kind and makes the class fun. There's lots for the kids to do and several obstinate courses.

My daughter is 2yrs old on the phone I was told if she showed promise she would be moved to a 2.5 classroom when I showed up the lady at the front desk told me no that's not possible.

It was my daughters first class today, so I thought we d see how it goes maybe she would be fine in the 2yr old class. She s already running on the balance beams without holding onto me and is flying threw the courses. This gets frustrating because the other kids are doing amazing but at a different pace then her and patience only goes so far in a hour long class. She swings from the hand beams, jumps, does flips all of it all without instruction.

Then after the class I asked her instructor about how classes work she said the 2.5yr old class has a long wait list but she can most definitely do the summer classes for 3yr olds because she's ready!!

I try to sign her up and I was told again by the front desk lady that she absolutely had to be 3.

This makes no sense!! She's more then ready and only going to cause trouble for the younger kids. We will not be back!

I took my 2 years old girl to try a class. Being it her first class at this place she was excited and wanted to play and jump around. Her joy met with super rude atitude and lack of patience. The person from the registration came to direct her to the kids line in an unfriendly aggressive way. For a place that works with young children, it was a bad surprise. For dessert I was told not to bring her back in 6 months. My girl goes to different fun classes around town, never met such an attitude. However I am going to consider the request and keep her way. Not for 6 months, forever!

I run a Crossfit Gym in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and I reached out to Marty, The owner of Fort Lauderdale Stars to inquire about bringing a group of athletes and coaches for a clinic one night if possible. He was able to accommodate us with no problems. Every single person we brought over had nothing but amazing things to say about their experience at Fort Lauderdale Stars. Not only his knowledge and professionalism was great but the facility speaks volumes on how clean and up to date everything is! We look forward to going back again soon.

I was looking to enter my daughter in gymnastics. ...

I was looking to enter my daughter in gymnastics. This place is conveniently located to my home. I came in and found out that the gymnastics classes were full but they offered a hip hop/ballet/contemporary dance class. I was told I could register my daughter for that class while she's on a wait list for gymnastics. I was intructed to go online to register her for dance and place her on the wait list. I registered my baby for her dance class and placed her on the waiting list. She started to attend the dance classes, which she liked, however I didnt. First off let me say that the dance instructor, while extremely sweet (no complaints on her), has no real dance skills, it's more of a "My Gym" style class. No real technique being taught, just freestyle dance for fun and socializing. That's great if I have a toddler at home who needs socializing. But my daughter is 8. So despite me not liking the class and paying just as much as gymnastics, I left her in it because I knew at some point it will be time for her to switch over to Gymnastics. I went to the front desk, which was manned by a teenage boy, to confirm my daughter's name was on the wait list. He looked and didnt find her. Weird, because I did it online along with my registration ? I told him to put her name on it and he didn't have the knowledge to do it. Noone was around to help the kid put it in, so he wrote her name on a piece of paper and told me he would have someone do it for him. Ok, great! MONTHS later, I'm wondering where she is on the list, I go to the front desk and they notify me that she isn't on it! Excuse me? *enter baffled face here* So they managed to auto draft me once a month from my online registration but FAILED TO PUT MY DAUGHTER'S NAME ON THE WAITING LIST TWICE!?! I mean that is the reason why we ever stepped foot in the door. All the girl could do is apologize and offer to put her name at the bottom of the list. Umm no, cancel her current classes. Super irritating

My daughter has been going to Ft. Lauderdale stars for 3 years now. She is 7 years old. I am very impressed with their facility and their staff. The kids love the coaches and of course they push them to be their best, but they also know when to back off and not push if the child is fearful trying a new skill. They guide them and teach them with love. I am looking forward to the day my daughter is ready for team. :-)
