FSCJ Kent Campus Technical Services Review

I took an test and paid. I followed their direction and my score got sent to Department of Education of florida. So i can't get credit for my test that i passed. I contacted fscj and emailed the actual coordinator. Never got replied back. They dont do anything. In fact Fscj doesnt deserve any star. All they deserve is 0 star.

FSCJ Advisors are not helpful at be prepared to wait 2-3 hours in the student success. Always understaffed. And the student helpers don't the heck they are doing. Both, will mislead you with information. None of the workers care if you go to college all they care about their money.

Always great to work with the staff and crew at FSCJ Kent Campus.

I enjoy attending Kent Campus but im only giving one star because the individuals at the front desk are so unprofessional. I went in yesterday to ask about what classes i needed left to complete my A.A and as soon as i asked this one lady asked me hoe many years i have been attending fscj so i proceeded in telling her i was there for two years. She then looked at me and with a smart mouth said well shouldn't you already know? ........ Well i came into MAKE SURE i was taking the right class and not have to take classes i don't need. I wouldn't of wasted my time going if i knew what classes i needed. They are there for a reason TO HELP STUDENTS not make us look dumb.

State college with good bachelor degree programs at a fair and competitive cost to big universities

Clean, mostly quite, and well kept campus. Tutors are great and classes are easy to get too. This campus defiantly support most starter classes, but even if it doesn't the other FSCJ campuses in the area are close by too.

All campus are part of a large FSCJ network, so if you cant find your class here, it may be at another near by.

Try the cafeteria, the food is made there in front of you and tastes great too.

I have been sitting here with my son waiting to see an advisor since 8:45. We were told they would be in at 9:00. It is now 9:24. No one else is waiting to see an advisor. If I could give zero stars I would. REALLY!!!

Be prepare to wait 4 hours in student services and hear they "can't help you and try again after 3 days because the lady there forgot to assist"

I waited a collective of 12 hours in the student center (in 3 hour blocks each). One time I was told to arrive at a specific time the next day to get in quickly and they weren t even open yet! They were having a staff meeting so I waited outside in the cold for over 30 minutes. They communication from staff to student is tragic. You have to really stay on top of it- no one there is looking out for you.

This campus is awful! My first time here and I'm so glad that I do online online. The worst experience ever. Customer service sucks. The wait time is horrible. I normally go to South Campus which I think is the best this far! Almost to the finish line with my Bachelor's Degree and I'm so happy I will NOT have to deal with this anymore!

Great for the community, not in a very good location.

Wonderful campus and staff! The library is top notch.

Teachers are really good, only thing that's bugs me is how the building s are designed to get to your class, it's one big fat square .

The people working at the bookstore today were extremely rude, unknowledgeable and unprofessional!! I went to pick up my book that was delivered earlier today, and the first lady repeatedly said it wasn't there. I told her UPS said it was delivered and even gave her the name of the person who signed for the package. When I finally got to speak to the woman who signed for it, she was sarcastic and rude. She also said my book was not there. I gave her the tracking number and she finally admitted it was delivered, but in a condescending tone, said it wouldn't be ready today.

Out off all the campus, Kent is the best next to Cecil!

Just went for my placement test, the campus is very poorly marked. It took me 20 minutes of waking ,2 staff, and finally 1 student that knew where to go. Make sure you show up early as it's easy tip get lost and there's no maps to help you find your way.

Made an appointment for 9:00am got there 10 minutes early, three people that just walked in got helped before I did. I was told someone would come out and call me at 9:00am I waited until 9:05 am and no one called me or let me know what was going on. I ve had other issues with this campus in the past as well every time I walk in the office I have an issue of sorts. A friend that has gone to the down town campus got there early and was taken care of early. Many people in their offices at Kent campus not taking care of anyone at the moment and in no rush to help.

This campus is unorganized, unreliable, and unprofessional. I called to get a status on my general appeal today; both advisor and advisor supervisor couldn't find or tell me my status (that I been waiting 5 weeks for). But was able to find the money I paid them for the class. Thank god for FSCJ Downtown campus, who actually helped me.

FSCJ Kent Campus is awesome! The staff are friendly & helpful. The campus looks amazing. There are also a lot of fun events throughout the year. FSCJ Kent Campus is great college to receive your education & enjoy yourself.

Its bad , unorganized. I dont know about. Classes but its very challenging do a paperwork there for any purpose.

Good luck just getting in. I m not talking about admissions standards, since this is a community college it s not that bad. I m talking about the fact that I ve turned in 3 documents FOUR times since April of 2018. It is now August 2018 and I m not enrolled for classes that start at the end of this month. At my previous college on the other side of the country, once you applied you had a representative assigned to you, who was pulling for you, no they wouldn t do all of the work for you but if you turned things in and showed effort they tried to help you out. In April they somehow never got some of the documents I handed in. In June the same documents were handed in with pieces missing, which is not true in the slightest. I ve since sent multiple emails with the documents and nothing. No one is so much as saying they received them.
