5/15 - The install crew came back and glued the discharge PVC pipe. Poor guy, the pump started while he had the pipe line disconnected and he got soaked! They gave us the missing cap we needed and they plugged the extra holes in the block with hydraulic cement for us. Thank you Justin for all your hard work! So glad you were able to get us fixed up!
5/7 - The salesman, Robert, should have told us that the crew wouldn't be able to drill holes for draining the block wall because the block is completely core filled. That fact also should have been relayed to the install crew so they wouldn't have drilled holes higher up the block wall looking for a spot that wasn't filled with concrete (that we now have to fill with hydraulic cement). And, we should have been informed that we'd need to buy the plastic sheeting to cover the block instead of the install crew telling me in the middle of the project. Also, Robert told us that the crew could jackhammer under the perimeter framed walls when in fact they had to cut the nails and remove the base of the framed walls causing this pregnant lady stress I didn't need and costing us more money to repair the framed walls after the crew finished. Isn't there a note section for the salesman to leave comments for the install crew? If not, there should be! Can you have the crew come back? They didn't glue the PVC discharge pipe joints and the pump ran, causing water to leak out onto the basement floor and down the wood framed wall (luckily we don't have drywall installed yet)! Also, they forgot to give us one cap for the places in the water guard system where we do checks.
