Amazing squeaky cheese; most selections of cheese and dairy products, jams, beverages, drinks! Foods are great also, enjoyed the chicken strips with plum sauce, the best ~ so crispy and yummy plum sauce! Enjoyed the smoked meat poutine, the quantity is generous! The burger was ok. Good ice cream & puppy slush, had a great time here!

If you want the best product, go to the source! A bit out of the way in terms of a restaurant experience, but if you have the time for a scenic drive through Ontario's rural fields, this is stop that is definitely worth a bit of a detour. Local businesses all use this as a source for high quality poutine. In my opinion the poutine here is really top-notch (pictures below) and there is a large store in the same building in case you want to buy some of their daily fresh curds. Visited in late 2020 and the restaurant portion was closed but the store was not (due to COVID), so call first to ensure they are open!

Despite having a medical note exempting my wife from wearing a mask, this establishment refused to serve her. She was trying to go in to buy groceries and if this store is allowed to be open as an essential service, they should be following provincial and federal legislation. Perhaps a day in front of the Human Rights Commission is needed for some of these operations that use a legal provision to make money and not follow another.

3 times over the past few months, I've had cheese curds go moldy before the expiration date. I've had contact with support multiple times, but they have declined to follow-up with me or offer any sort of reimbursement.

If you're going to buy from St-Albert, eat that cheese quickly. Don't expect any help from their customer support.

St. Albert's Brie (I know, Brie is supposed to come from Brie!) is probably the best I've ever had. I buy it from Cedars, in Old Ottawa South. I leave it out at room temperature for a couple of days, to allow it to ripen to my taste, and it is exquisite -- creamy smooth, with a hint of that mushroomy earthiness that tells uou it's the real thing. Not a week goes by without at least one meal of St. Albert's Brie, pears, grapes and a glass of good red!

I recently started buying their brie and Buffalo gouda from whole foods in Toronto. Both perfect. Especially buffalo Gouda reminded me the water buffalo milk cheese I used to eat when I was a kid back in the old country. Calling it Gouda is unfair in my opinion
