Good to the last drop. Food good. Slow service but still good service. People not showing up to work because of government subsidies keeping them home. Not restaurants fault. But I enjoyed the meal and drinks.

Their food is amazing, I got the shrimp scampi mac and cheese and it was to die for!! My server Jules was also amazing, she had the best attitude and was quick to help us. They have plenty of food options and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Was told that it would be a 20-minute wait would end up being a hour wait but we went on to our table it took forever for them to take our order of just our drinks we finally got our drinks two of them and still had to wait on the 3rd the drinks tasted like soap water that the glass had not been rinsed we end up getting up and walking out after two and a half hours waiting on our food they were people that came in that knew the bartender she served them and they got their food and almost was finished when we decided to just go ahead and walk out I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at this time

Out of towners here. We staid at a horrible hotel. Arrived late Friday and everything was closed. We skipped dinner and ate a mediocre breakfast. But on our way home we stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant a good temperature My husband got steak and crab cakes. ($28) The steak he said was cooked perfectly. The potato salad was amazing (I was slightly jealous because theirs tasted better then my personal homemade one. Which in itself has never happened.) The crab cakes were perfect. You can taste the quality. It was a little over priced but worth it because it was the highlight meal of our trip. I got a shrimp plate ($20) and it was cooked perfectly too, and our kid got the hotdog off the kids menu. She's not picky but the meat wasn't the died red color that a lot of restaurants have. This is the kind of restaurant that uses fresh ingredients and doesn't the microwave and you can tell. Staff was friendly and helpful. They weren't too busy, Our drinks never went empty, food was hot and everyone left happy.

Came here for the jumbo clam strips and was sorely disappointed. Ate here a few years ago and the food was great, including their jumbo clam strips. They were huge, like a small finger, and good/tender. Decided to go back this trip and the jumbo clam strips were still on the menu, so I chose that as part of a combo with Mahi. Frozen clam strips at a generic restaurant were bigger and they were over fried with no taste. KInd of like a bunch of fried strings. If you don't have the same food, it should be removed from the menu or at least told you're substituting by the waiter/waitress. Overall, the rest of the food was good, including the crab cakes, but may try another place next time.

Was here several years ago and loved it. Came this yr after a years of being away and was so excited to come here again. The food was fair at best. Four cheese Mac n cheese had little to no cheese. $20 medium rare steak was like chewing shoe leather and the rice was like mush. Wedge salad was a bunch of lettuce leaves with a little bit of other veggies. Hamburger was so dry it was unedible. Fries, pasta and soup was not bad. $185 check and was only able to enjoy 1/5 of it. Very disappointed. Won t be eating here in future visits.

We eaten here many time over the years, sometimes twice a week while on vacation. Last time in 2019. Things have gone down hill since. Jumbo clams were the smallest I ve seen and the baked potato was hard as a rock and had cheese on it????? Tuna ok, kids chicken tenders were not very good either. The place must have changed hands since 19. Save yourself $20 plus a meal and visit somewhere else. A shame it s gone bad.

Our first visit to the Froggy Dog was during our honeymoon. Almost 30 years later, we still get along well and still agree this place is the best. Great service, and there's nothing on the menu that will disappoint. Due to the pandemic, we sat outside on the deck for the first time. A great place to enjoy a great meal!
